Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who played the part of Arnie Nuvo?

Answer: Herschel Bernardi

A perfect casting. He was very convincing in the role of a content loading dock foreman promoted to the management position of "Head of Product Improvement".
2. Who was Arnie's pal on the loading dock?

Answer: Julius

After being promoted from the loading dock to management, Arnie strove to remain friends with blue-collar friends, much to the chagrin of some of the higher-ups.
3. Arnie worked for a company named what?

Answer: Continental Flange

In the two-year run of the series, we never saw a flange.
4. Sue Ane Langdon played Arnie's lovely wife. What was her character's name on the show?

Answer: Lillian Nuvo

Neither overbearing nor timid, her character was very well cast.
5. In the theme song for "Arnie", aside from the name "Arnie" being shouted, what were the only two words uttered?

Answer: Oh Boy

At the end of the theme song, Arnie uttered "Oh Boy" as if to convey: "What have I gotten myself into" to the audience.
6. Arnie's boss was played by an actor by the name of Roger Bowen. Which major electronics superstore did Bowen do commercial spots for in the U.S.?

Answer: Highland

Alas, Highland Superstores met the same fate as "Arnie"... a couple of good years, then never heard from again.
7. One promoted to management, most of the staff warmed to Arnie, one exception was a typical corporate back-stabber. His name was what?

Answer: Ogilvie

Ogilvie, played to the tee by Herb Voland, resented an under-educated, blue-collar type sharing the executive washroom with his upper-crust pals. Fortunately for Arnie, the boss wasn't swayed.
8. Along with his wife, Arnie had a teenage son and daughter. Del Russel portrayed Richard Nuvo, the son. Who was the stunningly beautiful young actress who played the part of Andrea Nuvo?

Answer: Stephanie Steele

I found it difficult to believe this gorgeous, talented young lady was largely ignored by Hollywood after the conclusion of this sitcom.
9. Arnie was given the services of a secretary after being promoted to management. His secretary would best be described as what?

Answer: Full-figured

Felicia was indeed full-figured, but was portrayed as very level-headed, dark-haired, and certainly not a whiner. Very little time was wasted on her weight, the depth of her character was allowed to flourish.
10. Arnie's boss, when greeted, always greeted others by using his left hand. This brought up the inevitable question, why did he avoid using his right hand?

Answer: It was his polo-playing hand.

In order to play up the differences between the "Blue-Blood" and the "Blue-Collar" types, they gave Hamilton Majors Jr. this odd trait.
