He told Sami he didn't love her and which made her decide to run away to LA.

When Sami tried to disprove Lynn, a guilty Jamie entered the room. She backed up Lynn's story. There was no way that Austin and Carrie could disbelieve the Jamie. Carrie slapped Sami. This scene is infamous in "Days Of Our Lives" behind the scenes moments. Christie Clark REALLY slapped Alison Sweeney and bruised her quite a bit. From then on, whenever there was a slapping or punching scene for Christie, they had to remind her to tone it down.
