One of the ship's service robots, or skutters, has gone mad and wired one of the vending machines up to a bomb that will destroy Red Dwarf if it is not shut down in time.

He orders the food and the machine starts counting down to the explosion. The more lister tries to cancel the order, the faster the countdown goes.

Brown's was the first personality disk the crew could find that had security clearance. With Brown's mind operating Lister's body, they try to override the bomb sequence, but it doesn't work. The countdown reaches zero, and Lister's order comes out of the vending machine.
