Ed is their cousin who married his mother. Talk about imbreeding!

2. Which of the Swill Brothers has long hair and is the leader of the gang?

Answer: Will

Will took over leadership of the gang after their other brother Gill left. Not the smartest one (that would be Gill), he is very mean and what some might call a psychopath. "Who are you calling a gentleman?"

3. Which Swill brother was the shortest and happened to get his ear shot off in one episode?

Answer: Phil

Phil tries to be the peace keeper between the brothers. One of my favorite lines that he says is "Can't we all just get along?" As a side note, Phil's ear was shot off by his own brother Will when they were having a shoot out with Brisco and Bowler in a saloon.

Answer: Bill

From the little that Bill says, I think he is quite literate, especially when he talks about crime. "I have to admit that I kind of enjoyed the last eight months on the road, the random violence and the occasional killing."

I don't think this was ever actually said in the episode that she was in, but the name of the character was listed in the credits. Guess she liked names that rhymed with her own! I don't think their father was ever mentioned.

Gill and cousin Ed were both in the vehicle (known to most of us as a tank)when Professor Wickwire's rocket car rammed into it and exploded.

We find this out in the episode "The Orb Scholar." Brisco was a teenager at the time and his best friend left him to die.

Answer: Gill

She wanted to shoot Brisco for killing her favorite son.

Answer: "Do what he says or I'll break both your legs."

Will was looking for some support at being a gang leader because Phil and Bill weren't trusting what he said. Ma Swill, as the ever nurturing mother that she was, told them both this and that Will wasn't very smart, but he was all that they had so they should listen to him. Nice support, huh?

10. When Brisco and Bowler were caught by Ma Swill and the rest of the family, which one of the Swill clan gave Bowler a cigar as a last request?

Answer: Uncle Dick

This was right before the clan was going to shoot Brisco and Bowler. Brisco had a plan and requested that Bowler get a cigar as a last request even though Bowler didn't smoke. He used it to blow up a building.
