Answer: Alice Krige

I think Alice Krige is a wonderful actress and such a beautiful woman. In this movie, she was the current Matriarch and was the wife of Waldo, the Mayor of Waterfall City. She was also in the movie 'Sleepwalkers' (Stephen King).

2. If a citizen of Dinotopia greeted you with the words "breathe deep", what should your response be?

Answer: seek peace

Your response to "breathe deep" should be "seek peace". If you were a Skybax rider you would reply "fly high". The answer "fly high" is not acceptable in this question because I think I can safely say that no one taking this quiz is a Skybax rider.

3. What was the first code of Dinotopia?

Answer: one raindrop raises the sea

The first code of Dinotopia was used continuously throughout the movie. The first five codes of Dinotopia are: One raindrop raises the sea. Survival of all or none. Weapons are enemies, even to their owners. Give more, take less. Others first, self last.

4. Where would you find all the codes of Dinotopia written down?

Answer: Fountain Square

In Fountain Square there was an obelisk with all the codes, except for the eleventh code, on it. Only the first three letters of the eleventh code could be seen. Marion asked this question to her class on Karl and David's first day. David answered the question correctly.

5. Karl received a Saurian partner to take care of, whom he named Twenty-Six. What kind of dinosaur was Twenty-Six?

Answer: Chasmosaurus

Twenty-Six was an adorable little Chasmosaurus. In Vidabba, when Karl found out he was to have a Saurian partner, he was not happy at all, but he came to love her very much.

6. What was the name of the girl David was friends with, in Canyon City, whom Marion became jealous of?

Answer: Romana

Marion began to have feelings for David and became jealous when David spent time training with Romana Denison. Marion and David talked about this while they were spending the night in the Skybax's nest.

7. What type of dinosaur did David fly with?

Answer: Pteranodon

David was in the Skybax Core but he flew with an albino Pteranodon named Freefall. Freefall was shunned by the other Pteranodons because he was different and he let David fly with him after he watched David being shunned by the Skybax.

8. Whose journal did David, Karl, Marion and Zippo steal from the Ancient Library?

Answer: Arthur Denison

Cyrus Crabb sent them to steal the journal of Arthur Denison because it contained a map of "The World Beneath", where they needed to go to find the sunstones and save Dinotopia.

9. Who set the new sunstone in the top of the tower, in Waterfall City, to drive away the Pteranodon swarm that was attacking?

Answer: Zippo

David dropped the sunstone at Marion's feet and she raced it up to the top of the tower with Zippo following. Unfortunately when Marion reached the top of the tower she was knocked unconscious by a Pteranodon breaking through the window. Zippo actually put the sunstone on it's stand.

10. What was the tenth code of Dinotopia?

Answer: eat to live, don't live to eat

Marion quoted the tenth code of Dinotopia to her father while having dinner with him. These are codes six through eleven: Observe, listen and learn. Do one thing at a time. Sing every day. Exercise imagination. Eat to live, don't live to eat. Find the light.
