Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who says this line: "Wait, is West the direction of the hand you hold a fork with?"

Answer: Dominic Sorel

Dominic says this when he and Renton have to go to the hospital to get medicine for Anemone and Eureka. While they are riding though the city, Renton tells him to go West. Dominic, not knowing which way West was, goes East instead. When Renton tells him to go West again, Dominic asks "Wait, is West the direction you hold your fork with?"
2. Throughout the series many people repeat this line: "Don't beg for things, do it yourself or else you won't get anything." By whom is this quote originally spoken, but never directly heard in the show?

Answer: Adroc Thurston

Although the character Adroc Thurston has no speaking lines, or a voice actor for that matter, it is said to be a quote that he had said prior to the time the series takes place in. People like Renton Thurston and Charles Beams later say this as well.
3. "I'll go and buy a small mirror somewhere and practice smiling." This is said by Anemone in which episode?

Answer: Episode 48; "Ballet Mechanique"

She says this line during her monologue in episode 48; "Ballet Mechanique". She says she would buy a mirror to practice smiling over and over.
4. After his favorite lifting spot is destroyed Renton says this "This...city is...the WORST!" What city is he talking about?

Answer: Bellforest

Because his hometown is so small, and has barely any traces of trapar waves, Renton begins to hate Bellforest. On top of that, the military blocks off his favorite lifting spot which makes him hate it even more.
5. Holland says the line "What did you see in there?" to whom?

Answer: Renton Thurston

Halland says this to Renton after him and Eureka return from entering into the Kute-class Coralian. This is because Holland has always wanted to go in there with Eureka instead of letting Renton go, so when they get back he wants to know what it was like and what they saw.
6. When Eureka asks Renton how to scold Maeter when she disappears and makes everyone worry, what does Renton say as a reply?

Answer: "A good slap ought to do it"

When Eureka asks Renton what she should do to scold Maeter, Renton responded by telling her to slap her. Eureka proceeds to do so, before Renton explains that it is what you do to scold a boy, not a girl.
7. "This is me, a book without words". Who says this?

Answer: Eureka

Eureka says this because it is known that she was born from the land as a blank slate. Dr. Bear had said this and it is shown when Eureka found her book it is blank as well to symbolize herself.
8. "Sis...we have a problem". Why does Renton say this?

Answer: He finds out Eureka has 3 "kids"

Renton says this after he gets on board the Gekkostate. Eureka asks him to sleep near the Nirvash because she feels that his presence makes the Nirvash happy. Renton agrees and Eureka's three adopted children come and take Renton by surprise because he thinks they are her genetic children.
9. "If some have learned something that is fine. If others have learned nothing that is fine as well, more importantly... it was fun, right?" is said by who and in which episode?

Answer: Master Norb; "Join the Future"

It is said by Master Norb in "Join the Future" when he has them play a game of soccer before going to the Great Wall. After they ask him why they had to play, he replies by saying that.
10. "Whoever said that first love is both sweet and sour is dead wrong; it's only bitter." Renton says this about Eureka, and someone overhears him. Who was it?

Answer: Talho

When Renton says this, he is unaware that Talho overhears him. She uses this as blackmail throughout the episode to get Renton to go shopping with him.
