The First was in the guise of Spike when he sang this song to the real Spike in "Sleeper". The song, "Early One Morning" was what Spike's mother, Anne, used to sing to him when he was human. It became the trigger to making Spike unknowingly kill without the chip going off.

2. "Everything is well within parameters. She's exactly where I want her to be. And so are you, Number 17. You're right where you belong."

Answer: Adam

Adam was the Frankenstein looking monster from season four. The "Number 17" comment is reference to The Initiative's code name for Spike, "Hostile 17". The First guised himself as Adam in the episode, "Lessons".

This came form "Bring on the Night". the First appeared as Drusilla to try to get Spike to cooperate. Spike does not, and so The First has the Turok Han beat on Spike the whole time.

At the end of "Lessons" The First became a major Big Bad from seasons 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and of course The Master was from season 1. This is by far one of my favorite scenes from season 7.

Amber Benson turned down the opportunity to come back in "Conversations With Dead People" because she didn't want her Tara character's last appearance to be portrayed as evil. The Willow scenes had to be rewritten to substitute Cassie for Tara.

Whether or not Joyce was actually The First has been debated a lot. The way she appeared to Dawn was angelic, and the way she appeared to Buffy was through a dream (But the First haunted Angel and Buffy in shared dreams in "Amends"). One of the writers from the episode this quote came from ("Conversations With Dead People"), Jane Espenson, confirmed that Joyce was indeed The First Evil.

This was from "First Date" when The First was trying to get Andrew to shoot the potentials. Andrew wouldn't do it and said he needed to try to be good and pay for killing Jonathan in his own way, and The First responded with that quote.

Notice how on both "Buffy" and "Angel" the Eve characters always turn out evil. Anyway, this quote is from "Showtime" when The First posed as a dead potential to try to scare the other potentials into giving up.

And Buffy didn't know what TTFN meant, she really *was* deprived a childhood. This was from "Get It Done" after The First persuaded Chloe to hang herself and the gang found her body.

Nikki was Principal Wood's mother who was killed by Spike in the late 1970s. In "First Date" The First appeared to Robin as his mother, who was played by a different person than the stunt woman who played Nikki in "Fool For Love."
