"The Inferno" is a show on MTV, in which contestants that were on either "The Real World" or "Road Rules" appeared on. They all lived in the same house, but were divided into two teams. These teams competed in challenges to win prizes. Each round, one person from each team was put up for elimination, and those two people would face off in a challenge. The loser would be sent home.

"Murder in Small Town X" resembled a murder mystery. Ten contestants had to find out information and eliminate suspects to discover who the murderer was. One catch was that if they were ever in the town walking alone, the murderer could murder that person, so the detectives had to always investigate with another detective.

Answer: The Amazing Race

"The Amazing Race" features 11 teams of 2 who have to race around the world for 1 million dollars. On each "leg" of the race, the teams would have to complete tasks which eventually led them to a pitstop, indicating the end of that leg. The last team to arrive at the pitstop was usually eliminated (unless it was a predetermined non-elimination leg)
4. Surf I've her

Answer: Survivor

"Survivor", hosted by Jeff Probst, featured 16-20 castaways stranded on an island. They must complete challenges to win rewards or Immunity. The team that did not win the Immunity challenge went to Tribal Council where they voted off someone on their group, known as "tribes".

The contestants were left to build shelter, gather food & water, and strategize at their own camps. Whoever was the last one on the island (did not get voted off) would win 1 million dollars.

"Wikkedly Perfect" was a game where 2 teams of 6 had to compete in challenges relating to throwing parties, refurbishing furniture, and making clothing and their own furniture. Each round, the 3 judges would decide which team had the weaker project. Also, the contestants on the teams had to make individual projects relating to a theme, in the case that if their team lost, the two weakest individual projects(as chosen by the judges) would be put up for elimination.

The rest of the team voted on which of the 2 would go home.

Answer: The Mole

"The Mole" involved players, in which one was a "mole", chosen by the producers. They would secretly try to sabotage the challenges to prevent the team from winning money. After usually around 3 challenges, the players took a test which asked questions about the identity of the mole. The contestant with the lowest score on the test would be "executed"(sent home).

"The Bachlorette" starred 1 woman and 25 men. After going on dates with the men and getting to know them, there would be rose ceremonies. The bachlorette could only give a certain amount of roses out to the men. Those who did not recieve a rose would be sent packing.

Answer: For Love or Money

"For Love or Money" starred either 1 man or woman who had to choose one man/woman to "win". However, the man/woman who was chosen had to choose between their love or a million dollars.

Answer: Damage Control

"Damage Control", hosted by Pierre from "Simple Plan", had two parents that "went away" for the weekend, leaving their teenager behind. The parents watched their child through hidden cameras and set up their child in different situations.

"The Entertainer" starred 10 people who had special talent (singers, comedians, magicians). It was set in Las Vegas. The contestants had to show their talent through different challenges, and the one who impressed Wayne Newton the least, on the losing team, was sent home.

"American Idol" is all about finding the best singer. After several rounds of elimination, the best 12 make it to the finals, where America votes for their favorite. The three judges who critique the singers are brutally honest Simon Cowell, sweet Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson.

The one with the least votes was eliminated. American Idol, as of 2004, has three winners. They are Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, and Fantasia Barrino. Kelly Clarkson has had a platimun record, and has produced many hits like "Since U Been Gone", "Miss Independent", and "Breakaway".

Answer: The Apprentice

Donald Trump, with the assistance of George and Carolyn, must choose one person of the 16-18 candidates(varied through the seasons) to become his apprentice. There were two "corporations", and each round they must perform a buisness related task. The failing team would send their "project manager" and two people of the project manager's choice to go to the boardroom where one person Trump felt performed the weakest was "fired".

This continued until one remained.

Answer: Paradise Hotel

This show, hosted by Amanda Byram, starred men and women who stayed in a beautiful scenery while looking for love. Each round, the man or woman (rotated each week) that was not chosen to stay was sent home, and replaced with someone of the opposite sex. At the end, they were sent home, possibly with new relationships formed and some money as well for surviving.

This show starred famous singer and Jessica's younger sister, Ashlee Simpson. It not only showed her progress through her carrer, but viewers also saw what she was like around family and friends.

"Nashville Star" is like "American Idol" gone country. As of 2004, it has had two seasons. Judges would voice their opinions, but America decided who stayed and who went.

"Road to Stardom" starred Missy Elliot, who had to choose a singer that would go on tour with her. They stayed mostly on a tour bus and had to impress Missy with their voices.

"The Contender" is a show about 16 boxers who never had a chance. Each round two boxers will fight. The loser goes home, and the winner goes on to the final eight. The last boxer remaining wins $1,000,000.

"Trading Spaces" would take two neighbors that each chose a room in their house they were unhappy with. With the help of experts, the neighbors would have to remodel that room with just an $1,000 budget.

Answer: Big Brother

"Big Brother" took 10-14 people (varying on season) and moved them into one house. They would have to win challenges to get food or they would face a diet of only peanut butter&jelly. There was also a challenge for the title of "Head of Household" in which that person would nominate two people for eviction.

There was also a "veto challenge" where the winner could save a nominee. The nominee would be replaced by the person of the Head of Household's choice (it could not be the veto holder). Then, the two people left as nominees had their fate in the hands of the other housemates.

The other housemates would vote for one of those people to be "evicted" from the house and lose their shot at the $500,000 prize.

Answer: The Benefactor

"The Benefactor" was where Mark Cuban gave away $1,000,000 to one of 16 people chosen to live in his house. They would perform in challenges, and then Mark Cuban would send home the people he was least impressed with.

Ty Pennington and his crew find a needy and deserving family to renevate their whole home in just a week. Most weeks, they have to knock down the whole house and fit everything in in such a short time period.

Seven strangers are all forced to live in the same house. Like in the real world, they have connections to their family and friends. They have computers, phones, and newspapers. They also have a different job each season they must work for to earn their pay.
