1. Who did Philip Martin go out with after Julie died?

Answer: Ruth

I remember she had some awful green trousers! But anything was better than Julie Martin.

2. Which character's real name in the show was Freedom?

Answer: Stephen Gottlieb

It was Stephen. His parents were hippies and he chose a more normal name instead (his real name is Lochie Daddo though, which is the strangest by far!). His sister was Ren (Serendipity) and his brother was Mark (Cosmic). His eventful time in Ramsay St included meeting Phoebe at Todd's grave, taking in a dodgy lodger and becoming wheelchair-bound after an explosion at Lassiters. Don't worry, he walked again of course.

3. Who went temporarily blind whilst cleaning his surfboard?

Answer: Josh Anderson

It was Josh, getting some surf wax in his eye. He also managed to see Lucy in the buff as the cheeky chappie had regained his sight without telling anyone. Tsk tsk!

4. Which of these characters had a gambling addiction?

They all did! And Ruby and Darcy also had problems. I guess as 'Ramsay Street' was so called after a bet, it was only natural that the residents would have problems...

5. Karl Kennedy performed an emergency tracheotomy on which character?

Answer: Mal Kennedy

Karl rescued Joel from drowning after he was trapped under a car in a lake but it was his son Malcolm's neck he punched through after some wood fell on the unfortunate chap in the pub. Incidentally, Billy Kennedy (Jesse Spencer) went on to play a doctor in the 2005 American TV show "House". Karl would be so proud!

6. How did Drew Kirk die?

Answer: Fell off a horse

The nicest guy in Ramsay Street. What a sad end! Drew and Libby were moving to his home-town of Oakey to manage his dad's stud farm and during a ride on a horse, Drew was thrown off and died. Sob!
It was of course Julie Martin who fell from a height and Libby and Steph were involved in a motorbike accident but they both recovered. As far as I can remember, nobody's died from carbon monoxide poisoning yet...

7. Where were Toadie and Dee going for their honeymoon?

Answer: The Maldives

Alas, their car shot off a cliff whilst driving to the airport and although Toadie was fine, Dee's body was never found...but if Harold's anything to go by she could still turn up!

8. Why was Lou and Annalise's relationship frowned upon?

Answer: Annalise was still at school

I was glad when she stopped wearing that ridiculous school uniform. She looked about ten years older than everyone else.

I'm not sure if this is some Australian term as I was a bit confused about it! I do remember her wearing a tutu though.

10. What is the Kennedy's sheep called?

Answer: Cassie

As far as I know (writing this in 2005), Cassie (Casserole) is still living in Susan's back garden. They occasionally mention it but we never see it anymore. Rather like Joe Scully!
