Lauren was Vaughn's wife in series three, Emily was the name of Sloane's wife and Alice is Vaughn's ex-girlfriend.

2. In which episode did Jack and Irina meet for the first time since she faked her death 20 years ago?

She said, "I've had a picture of your face in my mind for twenty years. I remember a loving husband, a generous man, a patriot. I may have been under orders to fabricate a life with you, but there were times when the illusion of our marriage was as powerful for me as it was for you, especially when Sydney was born. Looking at you now, I see that illusion is finally gone."

This is from "Passage, part 2". They reminisce about an incident when Sydney was four years old, when Jack accidentally started a small fire after he and Irina had a little too much to drink, and he forgot about the toast he was making.

They go to Bangkok to retrieve a Rambaldi manuscript from Stuka, a former contact of Irina's. He tells her that it is now in Hong Kong, where Jack and Irina go next to recover the manuscript. Jack uses the manuscript to bait Sloane; he and Irina travel to Panama for the meeting, during which the CIA hopes to capture Sloane.

In fact, the meeting is a set-up, planned by Irina to secure her escape.

7. In which episode did Irina thank Jack for raising Sydney?

Answer: A Dark Turn

"I never thanked you for everything... for raising our daughter." This is on the plane back from Bangkok in "A Dark Turn".

8. What did Jack and Irina write at the end of the conversation when they were messaging each other in series three?

This was a nice scene, but there has been speculation about whether or not it really was Irina on the other computer. I like to think it was though.

Answer: orchid

Orchids have been linked with Rambaldi in previous episodes. Thank goodness it was a clone of Irina Jack killed, or our favourite Spymommy would be gone!

The pair shared a brief, tender kiss before Irina left, stopping on the way to congratulate Syd and tell her that she would find a way to see her on her wedding day.
