Charles comes charging into the scrub room yelling at Klinger in his usual demeaning way. Colonel Potter tells him to not "chew out the boy". Klinger says it's alright "he's rotten but he's right".

B.J. walks into where Charles and Klinger are to see why the lights are flickering and is caught by the explosion. Colonel Potter walks in right after it happens to see if anyone is hurt.

When Colonel Potter asks him if his head hurts, Klinger responds with "Only where it hooks to my nose!"

Answer: He drops a martini glass

After the x-ray turns up nothing, Hawkeye tells Colonel Potter "I wish I was as sure about it as you are. B.J. Hunnicutt doesn't drop a martini glass unless his tenth martini is in it."

Answer: "I, the Jury"

Charles initially does not want to read the book to him, but Klinger lays on the guilt saying "I find it so heartwarming to hear your voice ringing out vibrantly after you came so close to being...shall we say, dead?"

Dr. Traeger arrives, much to Charles' delight, right in the middle of the reading of "I, the Jury." The delight quickly fades, though, when Charles has to carry Dr. Traeger's bags. That work is so below him.

Dr. Traeger asks Hawkeye if he's been handling this type of case (injuries of the wrist) for 20 years in private practice. Hawkeye responds with, "It doesn't matter. Since I got here I've had 20 years experience in private practice, corporal practice and just plain major surgery. If it moves I operate on it!"

Answer: Compartment hemorrhage

This diagnosis is reached by Hawkeye barely lifting B.J.'s middle finger and him yelping out in pain. Dr. Traeger states that if his hand isn't operated on immediately he'll lose the use of it. In a brief humble moment, Hawkeye concedes this patient to Traeger. Traeger tells B.J. he's a lucky man because his friend realized who the best man for the job is, to which B.J. replies "Better watch what you say, Traeger, I've still got one good hand."

Answer: "I should have died right there on the table."

After he says this Hawkeye responds with "Oh, wouldn't we have had the last laugh?" B.J. says, "Well, you would have."

Answer: Charles shreds it and holds a "ticker tape" ceremony

Klinger has continued to hound Charles about reading this book and he becomes fed up. Charles takes the book and shreds it, places it in a paper bag and then dumps the pieces all over Klinger.
