Morgause gave Morgana the mandrake root. Morgana then stuck the root under Uther's bed causing him to hallucinate and go crazy.

Merlin set a goblin free, on accident, and it possessed Gaius. Then the goblin made Arthur turn into a donkey, King Urthur became bald, and some of the people in the royal household had severe flatulence.

3. In episode 4, what was the name of the man that Arthur and Merlin met in the tavern?

Answer: Gwaine

Merlin and Arthur stopped in a tavern when they got stuck in the middle of a fight. They got the help of Gwaine who happened to be in the tavern as well. Gwaine ended up getting injured so Merlin and Arthur took Gwaine to Camelot
