Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many drop zones is the most that can be utilized in "Russian Roulette" excluding the bonus round?

Answer: 5

It would be virtually impossible to get to it, but if there are six drop zones, you'd go down no matter what if you missed a question. The creators are willing to give one "safe" zone, so the most that can be utilized is five.
2. In Jim Perry's induction of "$ale Of The Century," how much was each player given to start?

Answer: $20

Each player started with $20, and each question was $5. The question round was similar to "Jeopardy!" where if a contestant missed a question, they lost the $5. This series ended in 1986.
3. In the game "Bumper Stumpers," a plate reading "ICUR2YY" would be translated as what?

Answer: I see you are too wise

"Ice Your Ways" would probably read "ICURWAZ," "I see your ways" would probably read "ICURWZ," and "I see your two-way" would probably read "ICUR2WA." This series only lasted about 1 year in the late 1980's.
4. In "Friend Or Foe?" if one team member votes foe, how can the money be divided?

Answer: Both of these

When one of the two vote foe, it becomes either all or nothing.
5. In "Press Your Luck," was there a time when the "Pick A Corner" was hit that the contestant could choose a whammy?

Answer: Yes

One of the three episodes with the talk show host Jenny Jones (yes she was a contestant and won about $19,000), she was able to choose a whammy on the "Pick A Corner" square. Not long after that, they took the whammy out of that corner.
6. In "Whammy!" what happens to a contestant when they land on a double whammy?

Answer: They get something dropped on their head

On a double whammy, they get the item the whammy is using dropped on their head. When the whammy is shredding money, the contestant gets green shredded paper dropped.
7. In Wink Martindale's induction of "High Rollers," what happened to a contestant when they rolled a double?

Answer: They received an insurance marker

The insurance markers gave a contestant a second chance to roll if they rolled a "bad" roll.
8. In Anne Robinson's induction of the "Weakest Link," how many questions had to be chained together to get the top bank amount?

Answer: 8

In her induction, there were eight players beginning the game, and in the first round if they all got a question right, $125,000 was banked for the team. Her series ended in 2002.
9. In "Tic Tac Dough," how much did the contestant have to reach in the bonus round to win?

Answer: $1,000

The bonus round gave dollar amounts ranging from $100 to $500 to add to their bank. The dragon took everything, and a "Tic" and "Tac" combo gave the contestant a win also. The most any contestant could achieve was $1,400.
10. How long do participants of "Cram" have to stay awake for?

Answer: 24 hours

Contestants are required to stay awake for 24 hours cramming as much information into their brains as they can. The winning team can get $10,000 for answering 5 questions right while Miss Pickwick reads to them.
