Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What historical character does Rebecca play in Jules' play?

Answer: Joan of Arc

Jules play is entitled, "The Maid of Orleans", and one of the few that runs for longer than two nights!
2. Why is Rebecca in Jules' play?

Answer: She's being used by her boss as bait for a suspected murderer

Sir Jonathan Chatsworth, who is Rebecca's boss and the head of the Secret Service, lays a trap for Duke Angelo Rimini, who is suspected of having murdered Lord Pontifrat.
3. After the play is over, Rimini shows up in Rebecca's dressing room. Where does he offer to take her?

Answer: The Cafe Royal

Once they're in the carriage, Rebecca says, with a trace of fear in her voice, that this isn't the way to the Cafe Royal. Rimini informs her that they're not going to the Cafe Royal, but to his dark, gloomy vampire castle in the Carpathia Mountains.
4. When Passepartout, Jules, and Phileas follow Rimini and Rebecca to Carpathia in the "Aurora", Passepartout tells them about the stories about vampires that someone in his family used to tell him. Who was this person?

Answer: His grandmother

Phileas responds to these horrifying tales by saying, "Oh, shut up, you idiot." Sometimes Phileas isn't quite as nice as he could be to his servant.
5. When Passepartout is on the "Aurora" by himself, vampires attack him, and he throws some garlic at one of them in an attempt to ward them off. What does this vampire say?

Answer: "For me? Why, thank you!"

As it turns out, the stories about ways to ward off vampires are old wives' tales, and don't work on Rimini's vampire assistants.
6. When Jules and Phileas first get to Rimini's castle of doom, they peek in a window and see Rimini apparently biting Rebecca's neck. In reality, he is actually kissing her. What colour is the dress she is wearing in this scene?

Answer: Burgundy

When Phileas sees what is happening, he immediately cocks his revolver and aimed, ready to shoot Rimini. Jules' common sense prevailed: "No, Fogg, don't shoot Rebecca!"
7. Phileas was going to drive a stake through Rebecca's heart.

Answer: True

Jules tries to dissuade him, but Phileas insists that this would kill the evil vampire spirit and bring Rebecca's real spirit back. Fortunately, Rebecca wakes up, and shows him that there are no bites on her neck.
8. Who says this: "He's a very attractive man!"

Answer: Rebecca

One of the great mysteries of "SAJV" is this: Did Rebecca really love Rimini, or did he have her under some kind of vampire hypnotic spell? At the end of the episode, her grief appears to be genuine enough; however, she seems to get over him very quickly.
9. Rimini owns a theatre in every major city in Europe. Why is there a bronze bust of him in every theatre?

Answer: There was a sensor hidden in each bust that called all of his vampire friends to the theatre.

In the immortal words of Rebecca Fogg, Rimini "decided to take a more scientific approach to blood-sucking." He made thousands of rockets, which he attached to each of his vampires' feet, so they could all fly. Then, with the help of the sensors in his busts, they would fly to one of the major cities in Europe, and turn everyone there into vampires.

In this way, he'd be able to take over the world in one easy step!
10. What is Rimini's first name?

Answer: Angelo

You never get to find out what happened to Duke Angelo Rimini. He doesn't die, because he's an immortal vampire, but you never see him again. Thanks for playing my quiz, and please rate it.
