Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "The Note", Jerry's real-life nephew appears as Julianna's son. What is his name?

Answer: Joshua

When Jerry keeps talking to Julianna, his physical therapist, about a kidnapping and how she should protect her son, she gets worried. Whenever Jerry tries to call her, her secretary says she isn't there when she is. Jerry finally sees her in her office one day with her son who has heard about Jerry and is terrified of him.

This episode is the only one that uses music different from the regular "Seinfeld" theme song. A vocalist is brought in for it, but it is never used again.
2. The ending in "The Parking Garage" where they finally find Kramer's car, but it won't start, was unscripted.

Answer: True

You can actually see Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss laughing in the backseat at the end of the episode. In this episode, writer Larry Charles makes a cameo appearance as a man Elaine asks for help that just ignores her. Kramer mentions he's wearing a jacket that one of his mother's boyfriends left at her house.

This becomes important in the upcoming episodes. This episode was especially hard for the producers to shoot because it had to be filmed on the normal "Seinfeld" sound stage. So a life-like parking garage was made and had mirrors put in to make it look more like a real parking garage.
3. The character Babu Bhatt from "The Cafe" originally had what name in the script?

Answer: Vong Sim

Babu returns in the fourth season episode "The Visa". This episode is the first time we see Jerry's Klein bicycle outside his bathroom. When Jerry tries to give Babu some restaurant advice, it turns out terrible. Babu shuts down his Dream Cafe. Sometime between this episode and "The Visa" Babu gets a job at Monk's and an apartment in Jerry's building.
4. The name of one of the four main character's mother is mentioned in "The Nose Job". Which one?

Answer: Kramer

Kramer and Elaine are trying to get a jacket back for Kramer. This storyline has been going on throughout the season. The landlord of the jacket's owner mentions Kramer's mother's name and starts telling stories about some of the indecent things his mother used to do. Kramer becomes agitated and attacks the landlord for making fun of his mother.
5. The mother of one of the cast members is sitting beside Elaine on a bench in one scene of "The Suicide". Which cast member is it?

Answer: Jason Alexander

The name of Alexander's mother is Ruth Greenspan. This is the first episode to feature Wayne Knight as Newman. Newman first appeared in "The Revenge". His appearance was offscreen and voiced by Larry David. It was later dubbed over by Wayne Knight.
6. "The Good Samaritan" was the first episode to be directed by one of the cast. Which one?

Answer: Jason Alexander

Alexander was nominated for a Director's Guild Award for this episode.
In this episode, George says 'God bless you' to a woman when she sneezes and has an affair with her. Kramer has seizures when he hears Mary Hart's voice. Jerry goes out with a hit and run driver. "Entertainment Tonight" would not let "Seinfeld" use their theme song for the Kramer story.
7. Jerry said that which episode was his favorite in an introduction for its rebroadcast?

Answer: "The Boyfriend"

In this interview, Jerry called the episode "The New Friend" instead of "The Boyfriend". This is the first time Jerry says his trademark remark to Newman, "Hello, Newman". This episode is many "Seinfeld" fans' favorite. The main reason for this is the parody of the "J.F.K." courtroom scene. Keith Hernandez stars as himself in "The Boyfriend".
8. George's middle name is revealed in "The Truth". What is it?

Answer: Louis

George mentions he's droven women to lesbianism before in this episode. This is something he will actually do in the fourth season episode of "The Smelly Car". You see Kramer's first onscreen girlfriend in this episode, Tina. This is the first "Seinfeld" episode to be written by a woman.
9. Elaine's storyline of being asked to take her hat off at the baseball game in "The Letter", actually happened to which of the show's producers?

Answer: Larry David

It happened to David while at an Angels vs. Yankees game in Anaheim, California. While seated in Gene Autry's box as a guest, David was asked to remove his Yankees hat. When he refused, David made it onto the cover of the "Los Angeles Times" sports section the next day. In the episode, Elaine was wearing an Orioles hat at a Yankees game.
10. "The Parking Garage" was shot after "The Keys" even though "The Keys" aired last in the season.

Answer: True

"The Keys" is a cliffhanger into season four. When Kramer gets mad at the other three main characters, he decides to go to L.A. to find work as an actor. His car breaks down so he has to hitchhike his way to California. In New York, Jerry and George discover Elaine has written a script for "Murphy Brown", while they soon see Kramer on an episode of "Murphy Brown".
