This was a scene from "Fresh Blood". In that episode, Gordon was on a self-appointed mission to kill Sam. Dean's response was funny, but also poignant, since he knew he would be going to Hell in about six months. The scene continued in its intensity, with the vampire telling Dean that he did not "care anymore" and it was "like being dead already". Dean's look was intense, and the sentiments became part of a confrontation later in the episode when Sam demanded that his brother stop being reckless.

After the "silk sheets" line, Bela said, "Really, Sam, I'd expect the attitude from him, but you?" He replied, "You shot me!"

Dean said this during "Bedtime Stories". The spirit of an eight year old girl that had been poisoned by her stepmother was making people re-enact fairy tales, killing people. Sam was the one that figured out that the killings mirrored fairy tales.

Sam posed as Gert's date so the brothers and Bela could crash the party at the museum that housed the hand, the artifact they needed. To Sam's dismay, the senior citizen was attracted to him, and not shy about it. The reference to "Mrs. Haversham" was classic - she was the elderly character still wearing her wedding dress that Pip encountered in Dickens' "Great Expectations".

The Trickster killed Dean well over 100 times in this episode. He told Sam he was trying to teach him a lesson - that he could not save his brother. This was his response when he realized Sam would never stop trying to save his brother. The reference he makes to Travis Bickle is to the crazy character from the movie "Taxi Driver".

This exchange was from "Long Distance Call". The brothers were trying to find out why people were receiving calls from deceased people. Dean received calls that he thought were from John, too. They later learned it was a crocata luring people to their deaths.

This was from "A Very Supernatural Christmas". It turned out the Carrigans were the pagan Gods that were killing people. The episode had a lot of humor, but also provided a glimpse into the brothers' childhoods, with flashbacks showing Dean taking care of his brother and a young Sam giving Dean the necklace that he was still wearing as an adult.

Later in the episode, Ruby told Dean that the same thing would happen to him.
