The company trying to take their house was called the Clamshell Corporation, which turns out to be owned by a former congressman. In the end, Sophie and Harry are able to give the Petipas family the deed to their home, as well as gaining their neighborhood historical preservation status in order to ward off future predators.

9. What game are Sophie's high rollers playing at the casino?

Answer: Parker

Parker, played by Beth Riesgraf, was established as the world's greatest thief during the original run of the series. In "Redemption" she managed to steal eight Rembrandts and 20 million dollars in bearer bonds in just the first two episodes.

Stealing the pearl from the riverboat was simply icing on the cake.
