Answer: The Garry Moore Show

"That Wonderful Year" featured songs and sketches relating to a particular year. Garry Moore was a veteran host and his signature crewcut and engaging personality made him one of the most popular and recognizable performers of his time. Three different versions of the show ran between 1950 and 1967 but the most popular was the second version which helped launch the career of Carol Burnett. That version ran from 1958 to 1964.

In a special issue of "TV Guide" from 1996 Ed was listed as number 50 on their list of the "Fifty Greatest Television Personalities of All Time". The show debuted in June of 1948 to poor reviews, largely due to Sullivan's lack of personality. But it wasn't long before he was to become famous for booking such superstars as Elvis Presley and The Beatles.

Vicki Lawrence's recurring character Mama led to a spinoff series: "Mama's Family" that was highly successful.

In 1970 she returned to television on a regular basis with a daytime talk and variety show.

His theme song was the John Hartford composition "Gentle On My Mind". Hartford and Steve Martin were among several writers for the show.
