Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the beginning of the episode, what does Jerry go shopping for?

Answer: A blazer

In the beginning of the episode, Jerry is in a department store looking at blazers with one of the employees who urges him to try one on. Jerry ends up trying one with a crest on it, and although it sounds expensive and looks great, he can't get past the idea of the crest.

He says he'll be back to try it on in front of a friend and the employee gives him a weird look. Jerry tells this to Elaine and she points out the fact that the employee caught him lying because he won't be going back. Jerry asks Elaine to revisit the store with him so that he can prove the employee wrong. Meanwhile, a friend of Susan's is staying with her and George for two weeks.
2. What is the name of the man who Elaine ends up dating as a result of Jerry's failed plan?

Answer: Craig

Jerry ends up returning to the department store with Elaine just to make Craig feel bad, but Elaine ends up adoring the jacket (crest and all) and recommends that Jerry purchase it. Craig also takes a fancy in Elaine as she also demonstrates a love for fashion and because of the fact she writes the narratives for the J. Peterman catalog. Jerry tells Elaine how he feels when they leave because he felt that Craig was being too up-front during their visit. Jerry claims that the situation was quite emasculating since Craig didn't know the nature of his and Elaine's relationship; she could have been his girlfriend helping him buy clothes.
3. At what parking lot does Kramer park his car?

Answer: Jiffy Park

When Jerry returns home, he finds Kramer outside his apartment. Evidently, while Kramer left his car at Jiffy Park, he accidentally left his apartment key with the car. Jerry decides not to take him, but Kramer gives George a call as well. George gladly agrees to drive him, but only because he doesn't want to stay with Susan and her friend, a wig master for "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat".

The drive to Jiffy Park is unbearable. Kramer ends up fiddling around with George's car stereo while he tries to talk, and he accidentally pulls off the volume knob.

After this, Kramer looks to the floor of the car and finds a condom below his seat. George quickly swerves the car out of control. Later, at the lot, George also claims that there's lipstick on the dashboard.
4. Since Kramer's car isn't ready by the time he reaches the car lot, what does the owner let him drive?

Answer: A Cadillac

When Kramer and George arrive at the parking lot, the owner tells them that they've misplaced his keys, so they can't give his car back quite yet. Instead, so that Kramer can be on his way, he offers the keys to a pink Cadillac (a Mary Kay Car) in the meantime. Kramer agrees to this, noting its prestige. Meanwhile, George decides to stay around the lot for a while as he thinks there's a bit of shady business going on in and around the cars. Elaine also has lunch with Craig and he notes that he can get her a discount on the high-end clothes at his store.

She mentions a Nicole Miller dress and he decides to help her get it. Jerry appears soon after and asks why he knew Elaine was not his girlfriend. He says he could simply tell.
5. George offers money to a woman at the car lot in order to get information.

Answer: True

George ends up staking out the parking lot and talking to a woman who says she's 'trying to make a living' there. He decides to offer money in exchange for information as to whether or not he should switch car lots when Susan walks over and finds him handing money to the scantily-clad woman. Later, at the apartment, she says that their marriage will never work if she can't trust him.

He decides to use this to his advantage claiming that if there's any doubt, they need to deal with it first and postpone the marriage.

Unfortunately, she claims she has no doubts. Meanwhile, Jerry warns Elaine that Craig may just be using the little black dress to lure her into bed and Kramer is taken on a tour of the Broadway Show "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat".
6. According to Kramer, why can't he stay at Newman's place while he's locked out of his apartment?

Answer: Newman has a girlfriend

Jerry ends up talking to Kramer about the blazer and he decides that ultimately, he'll just have to bring it back to the store to put Craig out of commission despite the fact that he is now dating Elaine. Meanwhile, Kramer decides that he wants to go to sleep, so he kicks Jerry off his couch and forces him to go to bed. Jerry wonders why Kramer won't just go to Newman's since he's so uncomfortable, and Kramer asks if he can sleep with him in his bed. All the while, it's only nine o'clock anyways, and Jerry can't be bothered with going to bed yet. Kramer is also seen sporting his brand-new Jiffy Park t-shirt; a gift given by the attendant at Jiffy Park since his car is unavailable.
7. What item from the J. Peterman catalog does Elaine give to Kramer?

Answer: Squire's Walking Stick

When Elaine arrives at the apartment, she gives Kramer the walking stick claiming that she no longer needs it to write an article about in the new catalog. Kramer also adds a bit of speculation to the whole dress idea that Elaine is dealing with. He claims that quite possibly, Craig is thinking that Elaine is just using him for the dress and the discount rather than the other way around.

He then forces Elaine out of the apartment stating that he and Jerry need their sleep. That night, while Jerry is asleep, Kramer ends up turning on the light and reading from a catalog. At the parking lot, George asks for his deposit and his car back, but the attendant refuses saying that in an ideal world, he would be able to get his car out of the lot, but it's in the back and he'll just have to bear with them for a few days.

As well, his deposit is non-refundable.
8. According to Jerry, what is the reason behind wanting to return his purchase?

Answer: Spite

When Jerry goes to the department store and tells the cashier that he wants to return the jacket simply out of spite, she states that spite is not under the conditions of their return policy and that if the blazer were damaged or simply to his disliking, it would have been an acceptable return.

She speaks to the manager, who also claims that it can't be returned simply out of spite of Craig. Jerry changes his story, simply mentioning that he no longer likes the jacket, but the manager says that he'll have to stick with his first argument: spite. Later, Jerry and Elaine run into Kramer, who is having lunch with the wig master and the costume designer for "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat".
9. What is the name of the wig master who stays with George and Susan?

Answer: Ethan

When Jerry and Elaine run into Kramer, Jerry decides to sit down while Elaine goes to meet Craig. At the same time, the costume designer, Charmaigne, says she needs to pick up the technicolor dreamcoat from the dry cleaner's, so Kramer tags along asking if he can wear her spare dreamcoat. Jerry is left all alone with Ethan, the wig master.

When an old friend of Ethan's comes along and tries to ask him out, Jerry jumps. He once again asks why it is assumed that he and the person he is talking to are not a couple.

The man quickly leaves. Back at Elaine's place, she asks when the Nicole Miller dress is coming in stock. Craig tells her that there's been a change of plans- the dress will be in stock later because it's being shipped over by boat. Elaine finds that a bit fishy, as it seems odd.
10. George ends up getting his car back in the end of the episode.

Answer: False

In the end, Elaine ends up getting a call from the department store saying that Craig doesn't need to be in at work until a particular time. She also takes the opportunity to ask about the Nicole Miller dresses and he says that they have several as it is. She realizes Craig was lying, and recalling a conversation between Jerry and Ethan, decides to cut off Craig's ponytail for a wig.
Kramer ends up wearing the backup dreamcoat, and along with his new squire's walking stick and a hat, he ends up walking down the street in style. When he arrives at the parking lot to pick up the pink Cadillac, he ends up finding one of the prostitutes inside with a customer. She ends up beating him with her purse and he tries to hold her back with the cane, but he's caught by the police.
George does not get his car back by the end of the episode, and Jerry does not return his suit.
