Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. As the episode begins, the terrorism threat level gets lowered. What does it get lowered to?

Answer: guarded

The episode opens with a news report, saying that the terror threat level has been reduced from yellow to blue. In the accompanying graphic, each color is labeled with an appropriate adjective for that level, with blue's word being "guarded".
2. What game do the CIA agents play, while the illegal immigrants sneak into the U.S. from Mexico?

Answer: backgammon

When the two CIA agents guarding the American-Mexican border hear the threat level has just been lowered, they relax their attention on the border and pull a backgammon board out of a drawer between them. This is when a whole group of immigrants standing at the border move across, from one security monitor to another.
3. What time is it when the Smiths believe they are about to die?

Answer: 2:00 PM

Stan comes home from a half day at work with the wrong thermos; he brings home a biohazard thermos filled with a virus instead of his soup thermos. The family is quarantined in their house for the next 24 hours they are told they have left. When this time expires, the clock up against the wall can be seen showing 2:00 PM.
4. What does Barb Hansen take from the two Guantanamo Bay inmates at lunch, which infuriates them?

Answer: napkin

Stan abducts Barb and sends her to Guantanamo so Francine can have her job as a real estate agent. In the prison, Barb, who is unaware of the severity of the environment, borrows a napkin from two other inmates at lunch, who then decide to cut off her hands later that night.
5. How many video cameras does Toshi's family have in their closet?

Answer: 30

Steve and his friends need money for a video game system, so Steve gets the bright idea to make their own version of "Girls Gone Wild". While Steve is narrating his plan (which includes borrowing a video camera from Toshi's family), a clip of Toshi going into a closet in his house is shown. Lining the closet are the 30 cameras.
6. What shape is the gun scope that Stan first points at Francine?

Answer: circle

When Stan realizes that Francine is making more money than him, Stan becomes so jealous that he contemplates assassination. While Francine is standing on the sidewalk, Stan points the gun at her from a nearby rooftop. After deciding she is the woman he loves, Stan switches the scope from a circle to a heart, before abandoning the thought altogether.
7. Which celebrity demands royalty payments from Stan?

Answer: Donald Trump

After deciding not to kill Francine, Stan decides to stop her earning power by shutting down her office. After telling the manager, "You're fired!" Donald Trump appears demanding payments for the use of his copyrighted phrase.
8. What is the name of the homeless fighter whose back story includes wrestling with alligators?

Answer: The Aviator

In another attempt to make his salary higher than Francine's, Stan starts a bum fighting organization, giving several homeless fighters a nickname and a back story. In this particular example, Stan apparently assigns the name at random; he is prone to random actions, after all.
9. Stan comes out of his fight missing a tooth.

Answer: True

When the bums go on strike (thanks to Haley), Steve finds a scab that will fight anyway. Stan dresses up as a homeless man and fights him in order to save his fight night. Before taking a dive as he has been paid to do, the scab pummels Stan, who can be seen later missing a tooth while talking.
10. What breed of dog does Alan Greenspan have?

Answer: Schnauzer

Stan finally puts Francine out of business (along with every real estate agent in the country) by kidnapping Alan Greenspan's dog and forcing him to drastically increases interest rates. When the plan succeeds, Stan orders the CIA agent with the dog to "release Greenspan's schnauzer".
