Answer: Archibald

Nate Archibald was played by Chace Crawford. Nate had a lot of charm when it came to the ladies as he shared relationships with Serena, Vanessa and Blair. He even shared a kiss with Jenny. Nate went through some rough patches throughout the seasons including turning his father in to the police, losing all his money and having to live in a sleeping bag in his house.

But everything got better for him in the end, he ended up working at the "New York Spectator" with talks of him running in an election. We last see him getting on a private plane.

Answer: Waldorf

Blair Waldorf was played by Leighton Meester. Blair went through so much during the show including, losing her virginity to Chuck, the on-off relationship she went on to share with him, the car crash, getting married to a prince and her miscarriage plus her very quick wedding with Chuck. We last see Blair at the wedding of Dan and Serena with her family including her husband Chuck and her son, Henry.

Answer: Serena

Serena Van Der Woodsen was played by Blake Lively. Serena was the first character that we saw a Gossip Girl blast being written about. She had a very hard time during the show as she was drugged, had to come to terms with the fact that she had played a part in a mans death and deal with her mother's illness which turned out to be the result of her father giving her medication to make her feel the symptoms of being ill.

She was one half of the 'will they? Won't they?' couple, the other half being Dan.

The last time we see her is when she is getting married to Dan.

Dan Humphrey is played by Penn Badgely. Dan started of on the outside, he didn't have much money and lived in Brooklyn instead of the Upper East Side, where the rest of the characters lived. Dan lived with father, Rufus and sister, Jenny. During his time on the show, he temporarily became a father to Georgina's baby, when she led him to believe that her son was his, dated Serena, Vanessa and Blair and messed up an internship. We last see him at his wedding, marrying Serena.

Answer: Bass

Chuck Bass was played by Ed Westwick. Ed is actually English and was born in Stevenage, England. Despite this, he kept up his American accent throughout the whole show. Chuck had a hard life during the show including the death of his father (which turned out not to be true), finding out his mother was actually still alive (not true either) and fighting against his horrible uncle for his father's company.

Although, it wasn't too bad for him as he fell in love with Blair. At the end, we see that he has married Blair and had a son who is named Henry.

Answer: Vanessa

Jessica Szohr played Brooklyn girl Vanessa Abrams. We learn that Vanessa has known Dan for a long time and are actually best friends. We see her get involved with three of the main male characters, Dan, Chuck and Nate. She even gets involved with Scott, who turns out to be Rufus and Lily's long lost child.

She also participated in a threesome with Dan and Olivia. Vanessa is last seen on a TV set receiving a text revealing the identity of Gossip Girl.

Answer: Taylor Momsen

When we first see Jenny, she's struggling to fit in to the high society world due to her being brought up in Brooklyn. She becomes Blair's servant for a while and then ends up working for Blair's fashion designer mother, Elenor. Jenny has gone through so much during the show from trying to bring out her own fashion line to losing her virginity to Chuck.

She also gets banished from Manhattan by Blair for sleeping with Chuck. At the end, we see her at Dan and Serena's wedding.

Answer: Lily Van Der Woodsen

Kelly Rutherford plays Lily Van Der Woodsen. Lily has had a variety of surnames including Rhodes, Van Der Woodsen, Humphrey and Bass. Rhodes is her maiden name, Van Der Woodsen came from her marriage to William, who is also the father of her children, Serena and Eric, Humphrey came from her marriage to Rufus, who is the father of her firstborn son, Scott and Bass comes from her marriage to Bart, who is the father to adoptive son, Chuck. We last see her at Dan and Serena's wedding.

Answer: Matthew Settle

Rufus was portrayed by Matthew Settle. When we first see him, he's struggling to deal with the separation from wife, Alison and his feelings for his first love, Lily. He first starts off, living with son, Dan and daughter, Jenny but when he marries Lily, he moves into her penthouse with Serena, Eric and Chuck. We last see him at Dan and Serena's wedding.

Answer: Howard Archibald

Sam Robards played Howard Archibald, better known as 'The Captain'. Howard is Nate's father and is seen quite a lot throughout the show. At first, we see that he has a drug addiction and later on, he gets arrested. But not for drugs, for embezzlement. Before the trial, he flies off to Dominica to avoid the jail time, when he returns he tries to get his son, Nate and wife, Anne to fly with him. Nate finds out this is a scheme to get ransom money from Anne's father, William Van Der Bilt and tells Howard that he can go to Dominica but he will never speak to him again or he can hand himself in. Howard hands himself in and goes to jail. We last see him helping his son.

Answer: Ivy Dickens

Ivy Dickens was played by Kaylee DeFer. Ivy was first introduced in season 4. We first think she is Lily's niece and Serena and Eric's cousin, Charlie. We find out that Carol, Lily's sister, paid an actress to pretend to be Charlie so her mother wouldn't find the real Charlie Rhodes. We see Ivy again, in season 5, with boyfriend, Max talking about their new apartment at a restaurant where he appears to be the chef.

It turns out she too works there as a waitress, but before she can put the apron on Serena walks in and she ditches the apron to carry on pretending she is Charlie.

Answer: Desmond Harrington

Jack is Bart's brother and is introduced to us in season 2. He comes because he hears of his brother's death and wants to take the company for himself. It also turns out that he slept with Blair on New Years. Jack sets Chuck up by having the board go into Chuck's office where Chuck is being entertained by two ladies while being drunk/drugged up.

At the end, we see that he is in a relationship with Georgina Sparks.

Answer: Dorota

Dorota is Blair's housekeeper and very close friend - it is said that she brought Blair up. She falls in love with the doorman of Serena's apartment, Vanya. It is revealed that she is pregnant and in the season 3 finale, she gives birth to a baby girl whom she names Anastasia. Dorota and Vanya move into an apartment in Queens bought for them by Cyrus.

In season 5, she announces she is pregnant again to cover up Blair's pregnancy. She later gives birth to a boy whom she names Leo.

Answer: St Judes

St Judes was a private school for boys but it was the neighbour of the all-girls private school, Constance. We would sometimes see the two schools join together in assemblies and during breaks.

Answer: Dan Humphrey

In the final episode, we find out that Dan Humphrey has been Gossip Girl the whole time. It was a way of getting himself known by the Upper East Side. It also turns out that Jenny knew for most of the time.
