"Five Nights at Freddy's" Backstory Quiz

This is probably the first quiz I've written that I couldn't get a decent score. The hero is my grandson, Chase the Big Brain. "Five Nights at Freddy's" (PC) has become quite the cultural phenomenon. It also has one of the most complex backstories.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the identity of the puppet?

Answer: Charlotte Emily

"Five Nights at Freddy's" was created when Scott Cawthon, a Christian themed media developer, was criticized for one of the characters in his game, "Chipper and Son Lumber Co." Critics found the main character frightening and compared it to an animatronic critter. Cawthon responded by creating a game about animatronics that was as terrifying as possible.

The first character he created was Bonnie. It was so scary it even gave the creator nightmares.
2. How did William Afton's son die?

Answer: The bite of 83

The first three stories took place at different Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. They are like a twisted, horror version of Chuck E Cheese. Later locations branch off to a bedroom and a storage tunnel.
3. How did William Afton's daughter die?

Answer: Death by circus baby

The story starts with William Afton. We'll call him Billy. Billy was the animatronic artist and builder at Freddy's. He was also and a serial child murderer. That's rather unpleasant.
4. What is the name of the child stuffed inside Freddie Fazbear?

Answer: Fred

After Billy killed those children he stuffed their corpses into the animatronics he was building. The desecration upset the spirits of the dead so much that they possessed everything in the parlor. They now seek revenge on adults who come near. In one of the few bright spots of this horror story, the spirits technically only attack adults and are extremely protective of children.
5. What animatronic character did William Afton's son become?

Answer: Shadow Freddie

The protagonist for the majority of the games is Billy's son Michael Afton. We'll call him Mikey. Mikey is trying to make up for his father's crimes. You, as the player do not see much of Mikey as you play through his eyes as he wishes to shut down the damage caused by his father.
6. What happened to the toy animatronics after their location was closed?

Answer: Scrapped for parts

Billy has a second son who's only name is Crying Boy. We'll just call him Boy. Boy is terrified of the animatronics that he is forced to live with, hence all the crying . "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" finds Boy in a semi comatose state while Billy tortures him with monstrous visions of Boy's worse fears. Then boy dies.
7. What human is inside the springtrap animatronic?

Answer: Mike Schmidt

Apparently, Mikey had some twisted ideas that he was attempting to make his victims immortal. He would lock their souls in robots and they could be repaired forever. Don't think Mikey was pure altruism, though. The brutal nature of his crimes suggest that he was a sadistic sicko, who enjoyed making people suffer.
8. How did the animatronic become phantoms?

Answer: By being destroyed

The only other known member and only female is the sister Elizabeth Afton. We'll call her Lizzie. She appears to be the only person for whom Billy carries any sort of affection. Even this "love" is pretty twisted. He expressly warns her away from his murderbots; and after they both join the undead they are the only ones that share a relationship. That's about as close to family as Lizzie is going to have.
9. What were the fun time animatronics designed to do?

Answer: Kidnap children

Mikey has a partner, Henry. (I got nothing). At one point Henry finally has enough. He starts the pizzeria on fire and destroys the entire dysfunctional family. As they all burn Henry expresses his most inner held desire for Mikey to burn in the deepest pits of Hell for all eternity.
10. How did Ennard become what he is?

Answer: By possessing Mike Schmidt

Mike Schmidt, we'll call him Schmidty was the original night watchman and the man who discovered how dangerous the robots could be. Poor Schmidty was trapped in the most horrific restaurant in history. Then he was fired for being, a stinky, amateurish bozo, who was messing with things that are better off not messed with. Ennard or Enny is an amalgam of all the sister location animatronics.
