Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Brt Stckd?

Answer: Brute Stockade

In the "Grand Theft Auto V" the Brute Stockade is an armoured truck used by the police and the security firm Gruppe. The Gruppe Stockade can be seen as the random events around Los Santos and can be robbed. In "Grand Theft Auto Online" the Stockade will show up on the radar in the freemode sessions for all players to chase down if they wish to do so.

Here are two methods of opening the back doors of the Gruppe Stockade in "Grand Theft Auto Online" allowing you to take the money that it contains. You can use a sticky bomb to open the doors or you can use the assault shotgun. Using the sticky bomb will get you a three star wanted level and using the shotgun will generally earn you a two star wanted level. Do not be tempted to use grenades or the RPG as these will destroy the Stockade, this I learned the hard way.
2. Wstrn Dstr?

Answer: Western Duster

Want to take to the skies in "Grand Theft Auto V" at a more sedate pace? Well the Western Duster is the biplane for you. The Duster looks similar to a Stearman PT-17, and due to its slow speed is ideal for flying under some of the bridges around Los Santos. In the mission "Minor Turbulence", Trevor flies the Duster to intercept a Cargo Plane. The ramp at the rear of the Cargo Plane lowers and Trevor then crashes the Duster inside the Cargo Plane, breaking the wings of the Duster in the process. In the first trailer for "Grand Theft Auto V" a Duster is seen spraying pesticide which makes the farmworkers cough.

In "Grand Theft Auto Online" the Duster is amongst some of the least expensive planes that you buy for the in-game website Elitastravel.com. If $275,000 sounds like a bargain then this may be the plane for you, but I would recommend avoiding the other online players while flying. As jet fighters and attack helicopters will make short work of your biplane. Also the other players who are on the ground can target you with the homing rocket launcher and sniper rifles.
3. JBlt P-996 Lzr?

Answer: JoBuilt P-996 Lazer

A new aircraft introduced in "Grand Theft Auto V" was JoBuilt P-996 Lazer. The Lazer is a fighter jet that is influenced by the F-35 Lightning II, F-16C Fighting Falcon and Eurofighter Typhoon. The Lazer also features in the mission "Minor Turbulence", in which they damage the Cargo Plane forcing Trevor to bailout by driving a Crusader out of the doomed aircraft. Cutscenes from this mission were used in the second trailer for "Grand Theft Auto V".

In "Grand Theft Auto Online" Lazers can sometimes be seen being flown by other online players in freemode lobby's, avoid these like the plague, as the Lazer is a firm favourite among those type of players who like to troll. One online mission in which players can use the Lazer is called "Extradition". If players go to Sandy Shores instead of breaking into Fort Zacudo they will find two Lazers on the Sandy Shores airstrip, making destroying the Titan a lot easier than trying to steal a Lazer from Fort Zacudo. The Sandy Shores method is how I and my crew perform this mission and we normally also have a player who can order a Buzzard. When the players who have killed the targets with the Lazers keep the police busy, the Buzzard player can acquire and deliver the package without having a wanted level.
4. Mbts Ml?

Answer: Maibatsu Mule

A classic staple vehicle throughout most of the "Grand Theft Auto" series is the Maibatsu Mule, which is in the commercial class. It first appeared in "Grand Theft Auto III" and is now a box truck in "Grand Theft Auto V". Its looks have changed from its initial look based on a 1989/1990 Ford E-350 cube van, to now looking similar to a Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter truck.

In the "Grand Theft Auto Online" missions "Coasting" and "Grab Your Ballas" you will need to steal a Mule truck. In both of these missions when you have stolen the truck, the online players have to deliver it to Martin Madrazo's lock up to complete the mission.
5. Wstrn Cbn 800?

Answer: Western Cuban 800

The Western Cuban 800 in "Grand Theft Auto V" has elements of a Cessna 310 and a Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche in its design. When Trevor has purchased the McKenzie Field Hangar he is able to do the Arms Trafficking side missions. These side missions will require Trevor to use either the Dune Buggy or the Cuban 800 depending on which vehicle you enter.

The side missions involving the Cuban 800 require you to drop either arm supplies via the air or bombing the competition out of business. The Cuban 800 also featured in the second trailer and the Trevor trailer to advertise "Grand Theft Auto V".
6. Bcknghm Mljt?

Answer: Buckingham Miljet

If you even wanted to fly a plane that combines a Dassault Falcon 7X with a Bombardier CRJ200 then the Buckingham Miljet is the aircraft for you. The Miljet was introduced to "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Grand Theft Auto Online" via "The San Andreas Flight School Update". In the flight school for "Grand Theft Auto Online" you have to glide a Miljet onto the Fort Zacudo runway due to engine failure as this is one of the tests for flight school. The online air race titled "The Humane Race" uses the Miljet as its default vehicle that all players have to use. The Miljet can transport 15 other online players plus one more which would be the pilot, so a total of sixteen players can use it at once. Chances of this happening peacefully in a random lobby are rare, so if you want to do this I would recommend a crew or invite only session.

One crew session involving myself and nine other crew members involved a Miljet to disastrous consequences. One of the crew members asked did any of us own a Miljet to which I replied "Yes I do, but never flown it as I have other planes I prefer but will order it if that's what you want?" So we all entered the Miljet after I had ordered it and proceeded to fly around Los Santos. Five minutes later one of the crew members started a drive by in the jet, wasn't too concerned until I realized they was targeting the engines. The other crew members quickly bailed out when they saw the engines on fire and left me to plummet to my doom. Some unprintable words were uttered through the laughter as it looked like something out of a war movie. Was not too concerned with what had happened, as it's normally me that causes the chaos in a crew only session, so made a nice change not to be responsible this time round.
7. JBlt Hlr?

Answer: JoBuilt Hauler

The Kenworth K100 is the inspiration for the design of the JoBuilt Hauler. The Hauler is one of the tractor trailer trucks in "Grand Theft Auto V" that is capable of pulling a trailer such as fuel tankers or shipping containers. The Hauler despite it its intimidating size does have one weak spot common among the trucks in the commercial class, its large fuel tanks. Well placed shots can cause either the fuel tank to explode or it to leak fuel which can be ignited, both of these will cause the Hauler to be destroyed.

In the "Grand Theft Auto Online" mission "Four Trailers", a Hauler along with a Phantom is used to transport the stolen containers to Lester's warehouse. This mission can be made easier if you deal with the incoming rival crew members if you steal the trailer and then get out of the truck you are using, to kill the hostile rivals who appear via the black SUV's. There can be a risk of the pursuing SUV's blowing up the trailer if just driven to Lester's which will result in you failing the mission, so kill them all first for a more relaxed drive to the destination.
8. Bcknghm Vstr?

Answer: Buckingham Vestra

The Buckingham Vestra was introduced to "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Grand Theft Auto Online" via "The Business Update". The Vestra has some of the traits of a Cirrus Vision SF50 jet aircraft incorporated into its design. In "Grand Theft Auto Online" the Vestra can be purchased from the in-game website Elitastravel.com for $950,000 if a player wishes to own one. The air races "Burn Your Bridges II", "First Class", "Tight Squeeze" and "Jet-setting" feature the Vestra as the default plane that all players have to use.

The Vestra also features in some of the team versus team missions in "Grand Theft Auto Online". The missions that have the "Air Force Zero" along with a number in the job title, involves three teams. One team/player will have to fly the Vestra to a destination in which one team/player will guard him by flying a Lazer jet fighter. The remaining team/player also in a Lazer has to hunt down the Vestra and destroy it.
9. Ttn?

Answer: Titan

The Titan in "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Grand Theft Auto Online" pays homage in its looks to the Lockheed C-130 "Hercules". In "Grand Theft Auto Online" the Titan appears in the missions "Extradition" and "A Titan of a Job". In "A Titan of a Job" mission players have to travel to Los Santos International Airport and steal the Titan from the Merryweather hanger. When players have successfully stolen the Titan they have to fly and deliver it to the Sandy Shores airstrip. This mission is for 1-6 online players but can be problematic if playing with random players who have not done this mission before. Common mistakes in this mission are when players forget to lower the landing gear of the Titan when landing it or while in the Merryweather hanger, piloting the Titan into the trailer which should have been removed out of the way before anyone gets in the Titan. This mission is also popular among the troll's who like to drive their cars into the Titan while it is parked in the hanger blowing up themselves and the Titan, so be cautious when playing this mission.

When I do "A Titan of a Job" mission with fellow crew members there is one trick I like to do, which is to turn the engines off while I'm flying and glide the Titan into Sandy Shores airstrip. As soon as you get into the Titan and start to fly, keep on climbing till you reach the maximum altitude. Roughly around Fort Zacudo I turn off the engines and then follow the river heading towards the yellow dot on the radar. By this point of the flight when you turn of the engines if fellow players had got in the Titan as well, they could be watching in cinematic mode and if they haven't done this mission with me before, the cries of alarm can be entertaining. I knew I could do this and land the Titan safely because I had practiced doing it after purchasing the Titan from Elitas for 2 million dollars before I attempted it in the mission.
10. Wstrn Bsr?

Answer: Western Besra

Thought I would save this question in this quiz and the last question in the series with my favourite plane, the Western Besra. The Besra was introduced in the "The San Andreas Flight School Update" and is based on a multitude of single jet aircraft trainers. With the Besra being a jet trainer, it has no weapons available to it, but it makes up for this lack of armament with its good top speed and superb agility, it's even capable of avoid incoming missiles from the Lazer jet fighter. The Besra also features in some of the more challenging air races such as "Flying Low", "Crosswind" and "Base Level". If you are hosting any air race I would set the race options to Non-Contact, as this stops any plane crashing into you destroying you. There is nothing worse when leading an air race only to be hit by another plane blowing you up and they continue on, as that can cause you to want to throw the controller through the TV.

One of the reasons I like the Besra is due to special event weekends in "Grand Theft Auto Online", when rare items drop in special crates in freemode lobbies. I order the Besra and climb to the maximum altitude and circle until the crate drops. When the crate has dropped I dive down in the Besra and eject when I'm close to the crates landing site, kill all the guards waiting for the crate and pick up the crate before the other players can get to it. Though sometimes in a freemode lobby the other players can be doing the same tactic so be prepared for a battle or people raging down the microphones if they have a headset. By doing this I have managed to get special items such as beer hats and rare T-shirts for my online character to wear.
