Answer: Ten

If you find all ten Chinese symbols it makes it much easier to crack open the safe near the end. You find them in many different places around the mansion.

2. How many different ghostly sounds can be heard throughout the mansion?

Answer: Eight

You find out in Abby's room that she creates all the noises. You can hear them in her cupboard, the eight different sounds.

3. What is the address for the mansion?

Answer: 4653 California Lane

You will mention the address on the phone wih Emily when you talk to her.
You can read it in the room with the main staircase. It will be at the front door.

4. Which Chinese symbols can be found in the basement area?

Answer: River and King

You can find the River symbol in the piano stool. You can find the King symbol in the area where Charles is living.

5. What city is the mansion located in?

Answer: San Francisco

This will be mentioned in the letter you send Bess at the beginning of the game.
It can be found in other areas of the game as well.

6. How do you stop the culprit?

Answer: Dropping the chandelier on her/him.

Loosen the chandelier for it fall right on top of him. Make sure you go up the right staircase. The one on the left creaks which will make Louis run for it.

After you have asked everyone about "Gum Bo Fu" you can talk to Rose who tells you that no one will be at the mansion for a while because Charlie is studying for finals and everyone else is going to the Winter Festival.

When she is out you can snoop about in her room. Make sure you are out by Six o'clock or she will find you.

Rose will tell you to fix the floor tiles in the corner of the kitchen where she sits. It doesn't take very long to complete.

The crowbar is very useful at later points in the game, including when you find the gold at the end. It can be really handy at times.
