Once again, Jack Sparrow finds himself in jail. Luckily, he knows that these doors are not too sturdy and kicks them open for you. Your days as a pirate have just begun.

2. After Jack Sparrow rescues you from jail, where must your character go?

Jack has once again conjured up a woman's scorn. Unfortunately, you get to be slapped for it! Oh well, now it is on to Captain Bo Beck to get off this island.

3. After visiting Doggerel Dan, your character must run to meet Captain Bo Beck. What type of ship does Captain Bo Beck command?

There are three types of ships in the game: sloop, galleon and frigate. Each type of ship has three classes: light, normal and war. Each ship type has its own unique abilities and advantages.

Captain Bo Beck was supposed to deliver Captain Jack Sparrow into Jolly Roger's hands. But Sparrow paid more, a bargain that costs Bo Beck his life. However, "dead men tell no tales," so Jolly Roger lets you live. How nice of him. Now, it's on to Port Royal.

Will Turner appears to be in some trouble with the East India Trading Company, but he is nice enough to give you a rusty cutlass and train you in using it. Be sure that you have mastered the weapon before attacking strong enemies. The cutlass is one of six weapons that can be used on land in the game.

Undead Gravediggers reside just outside Turner's back door, and they are the easiest enemies around. The Undead make up the army of Jolly Roger. Skeleton soldiers vary in size, weapon and difficulty throughout the game.

Answer: Help Jack recover the Black Pearl

Tia Dalma says that Jolly Roger and Lord Cutler Beckett must be stopped. However, she charges you to aid "witty Jack" in recovering the Black Pearl; she also gives you Jack's compass to help you. The compass helps you greatly, giving you guidance in most of your missions throughout the game.

Answer: A boat for free

Elizabeth Swann uses her influence to give you a lovely new light sloop of your own. Here is the first mention that there may be a problem with the governor who is "long overdue." The Governor has not been heard from for some time, you will see what is going on with him later in the game.

Answer: Pistol

Barbossa gives you a basic pistol and trains you on it using the monkey as a target. However, he reminds you to follow the Pirate Code: no using pistols on humans. Only undead pirates (the skeletons of Jolly Roger's army) are free game.
