The Hakuho clan is a satellite of Kamuracho's Tojo clan. Mine was able to rise to the top of the Hakuho clan through is mind and his money (bribary and business skills). Originally Mine's Hakuho clan seemed to be supportive of Daigo as head of the Tojo clan before his ulterior motives were revealed.

Answer: Two

A frequent boss in the "Yakuza" series, in the third "Yakuza" game you can fight him more than twice in Ultimate Challenge and the Coliseum, however in the story of the game you only fight him twice. In the second "Yakuza" game, Mark Hamill, who most famously played Luke Skywalker, in the Star Wars movies voiced Majima in the English dub.

Answer: Ryudo

Based in Okinawa, they are a small family and constantly battle with the Tamashiro family for control of Ryukyu. Rikiya and Mikio are members of this family. The Ryudo family were originally assisting (unknowingly) in the plan to demolish the orphanage, but after befriending Kiryu and Haruka, the Ryudo family did their utmost to assist Kiryu and the orphanage.

These two can only be completed in Kamuracho when Rikiya is with you. These two quests were both involving Rikiya including finishing Rikiya's tattoo and assisting Rikiya in trying to woo a girl he loved back in Okinawa as a child.

Answer: Tatsuya Fujiwara

Fujiwara is known for his portrayal of Shuhei Nanahara in the "Battle Royale" series. Nakamura and Shigeru also did voices for characters in this game (Mine and Nakahara respectively) while Funaki played Kiryu in the live movie of the first "Yakuza" game.

The orphanage plays a central role in the game due to its importance in the Okinawan Resort deal and is unfortunately knocked down by Tamashiro and Mine. Mine had also found personal pleasure in destroying the orphanage due to his own negative experiences growing up in an orphanage.

All character's tattoos have meanings respective to their characters. Mine's Kirin is representative of power due to the Kirin being rated as one of the strongest mythological beasts. Kazuma's is relative to his nickname, the Dragon of Dojima and his ferocity. Kanda's is a Geisha and seems to represent his indulgence in women and Rikiya's is a snake of Okinawa, representing where he is from.

Answer: Joji Kazuma and Andre Richardson

Kazuma and Richardson are polar opposites in the game. Joji is Kiryu's adoptive father's brother and is investigating the arms group Black Monday. Richardson, originally thought to be a CIA operative is really the head of Black Monday and is one of the masterminds behind the Okinawan resort deal.

Date is still able to assist Kiryu greatly in the game, even though he is no longer a detective. He is able to assist Kiryu on information regarding Joji, Black Monday and the internal strife in the Tojo clan. He also falls in love with the New Serena bar manager, Mariko.

In an attempt to localize the game for foreign markets, Sega cut out a fair number of extras to the distress of fans of the series. These included Mahjong, trivia, Pachislot, massage parlour, survival tag and the hostess clubs. Sega took note of the disappointed from the Western markets and majority of mini games and extras remained in tact in "Yakuza 4".
