http://www3.elections.bc.ca is the site with the most reliable information about election results. The website also breaks down how many people voted on each day of voting. The District Electoral Office is where the candidates go to wait for voting results.

The Voting Officer and Voting Clerk's jobs do not stop when all the voters leave. There is a very specific procedure for counting ballots. Ballots are counted into groups of 25 for each candidate and double checked at every 25. A judicial recount is called if 2 candidates receive the same number of votes, or if there is lass than 0.2% separating two candidates.

Answer: You go to the Certificate Writer with your ID and register on the spot

It is the Certificate Writer's job to register or update voters. Certificate Writers are only used in Advance Voting. Every voting station has a complete and up-to-date list of every eligible registered person in the province, and the CW can add new names to that list.

If you cast your vote out of your Electoral Area it is not counted as a live vote, although it will be counted in the final count, 13 days after General Election Day.

The IO is the first person a voter meets. The IO checks the voter's "Where To Vote" card and ID and directs them to the correct Voting Station.
