The Senate Watergate Hearings were indeed high drama. Dean revealed the existence of the Enemies List, and it was Butterfield who revealed the existence of the White House taping system. Dash and Thompson were the chief lawyers for the Democrats and Republicans, respectively, who did much of the questioning of the witnesses.

Answer: Labor unions

Nixon was certainly no friend of labor. Barkan was an AFL-CIO official, Woodcock was president of the United Auto Workers, and Lambert was with the National Education Association.

Munro, who died at age 60 of natural causes, was the only other member of the list who died before the age of 70. Dane and Schorr both lived into their nineties.

Answer: Mary McGrory

McGrory's career spanned five decades, during which time she wrote more than 8,000 columns, beginning with the Army-McCarthy hearings in 1954. An article on McGrory in Politico Magazine said that "Her writing was so well crafted that even the mundane nonsense of everyday life in Washington became compelling." McGrory died in 2004 at the age of 85.
