In Norway we talk about "de harde 30-åra", something like "the difficult 30s". Do you have that in English?

You can also talk about the Golden Twenties.

It seems like the Golden Twenties is a European term, while The Roaring Twenties is an American.

The period between 1901 and 1910 in the UK was known as the Edwardian era or age as this was the period Edward VII reigned.
