Motion sickness. The word kinetosis can be broken down into its roots of "uncomfortable" and "movement". Motion sickness occurs when our body has a gravitational force that is not expected. This is one of the reasons why VR can cause nausea because the eyes see something different than what the otoliths in the ear feel.
