Although the original Carl Jung spelling in 1917 was "extravert", the misspelling in a 1918 translation as "extrovert" was soon widely adopted in common usage.
Nowadays "extrovert" is the usual spelling except for some technological or academic settings which choose to use "extravert".

If in doubt, o is fine.

Both are correct. "Extraverted" is an alternative form of "extroverted".
