Posted reply from salami_swami: Topic: Pop Punk Well, according to a list of Pop Punk bands on Wikipedia (you know, because that's SO accurate [rolls eyes]), it looks like a do like a few bands.
Good Charlotte would be my favorite of the bands.
The All American Rejects
Allstar Weekend
Bowling for Soup
Boys Like Girls
Fall Out Boy
Good Charlotte
Green Day
My Chemical Romance
Paramore
Weezer
(I could add Avril Lavigne, as she showed up on the list, but that's odd to see an artist in a list of bands, and she was the only artist listed).
I was a bit surprised; I'd heard of most of the bands on the list.
And about 30 or 40 bands on there that I know at least one of their songs, and like the song. I could make quite a list of I added those bands in. ;)Jun 18 13 (11:09 AM). Posted reply from salami_swami: Topic: Pandora Stations Yes, in Pandora, you can add "seeds" to radio stations. So you could have a "Frank Sinatra" radio station, and add the "Lady Gaga" station to mix with it, and perhaps add the "Moonlight Serenade - Glen Miller" station to that, with a bit of "Shakira" as well. All in the same station. So with just a single station, you could listen to all your favorites.
To me, though, that's not very appealing. If I want to listen to some Glen Miller, I don't want to hear Lady Gaga screeching at me after a little light music. If I do feel that way, I'll listen to two stations simultaneously. So I personally don't like artist seeds; but I know one guy who has just about every genre in a single station.Jun 18 13 (10:42 AM). Posted reply from lesley153: Topic: What are You Listening to Right Now? Thanks, Bernard - it's good to listen to a singer, someone who can actually sing. Wanted to watch her singing too. Found this:

Posted reply from 13LuckyLady: Topic: Pandora Stations Artist seeds?Jun 17 13 (2:58 PM). Posted reply from salami_swami: Topic: Pandora Stations I have these stations:
Justin Timberlake
One Direction
Lindsey Stirling
Pentatonix
Usher
Kesha
Hunter Hayes
Jason Mraz
Never Shout Never
Secondhand Serenade
Brandy
Dubstep
Norah Jones
Enya
Disney (Children's)
Basshunter
Nicki Minaj
Linkin Park
2000s Country
The Wanted
Utada
Haley Reinhart
Maroon 5
Today's Hits
I don't use artist seeds. I like to listen to what suits my mood, and to have a Linkin Park song play in Hunter Hayes just isn't my idea of "fitting the mood" music.
I listen to Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Lindsey Stirling, Pentatonix, Brandy, Never Shout Never, and Dubstep most often. I use Enya and Norah Jones for going to sleep, Brandy and Usher are my "easy listening", Jason Mraz is my "I'm happy" music. Linkin Park is my angry music station, Nicki Minaj is my energetic station, Maroon 5 is my comfort music, and Secondhand Serenade I use to relax me. When I'm in a "I need to wake up" mood, I use dubstep and Lindsey Stirling.

She's welcome to the second one. I lost interest when they entered their Sgt Pepper phase. That's not blasphemy, is it?
This is what I was just listening to. Even older than the Beatles!

Jun 17 13 (11:36 AM). Posted reply from boxjaw: Topic: What are You Listening to Right Now? Last night at work I was talking with one of the youngsters about The Beatles. She appreciates good music and doesn't fall into the "I don't like music made before I was born" group. She doesn't really know much of their music though. At lunch, we all were sitting and eating and talking. I asked her to bring up two songs from the boys and asked her which one she liked the most. Being most oblivious to the songs she answered with this one being liked the most out of the two:

The second choice was this:
