Did it occur to anybody but me that this may not be the Patriots' fault, but the leagues? Could it be that the NFL is so hard up for the Super Bowl they want that they tampered with the balls? There is a story going around that the NFL is looking into a lowly ball boy to shoulder the blame. That in of itself is suspicious to me and may be a result of the league trying to divert blame from itself to someone who will never be remembered. Then we also have the Vegas theory. Some believe they truly run the NFL. Who really knows? Reply #21. Jan 26 15, 5:38 PM |

Good point, Anton. Who really knows what kind of "fixing" could be going on? Quite a few players to this day have said Super Bowl III, in which the Jets "upset" the Colts, was fixed. Reply #22. Jan 27 15, 1:38 AM |

I don't really want to see the Hawks win back to back Super Bowls, but I despise the Pats more than any other sports franchise so I'm rooting for Seattle. The wound from Super Bowl XXXVI still hasn't healed. Reply #23. Jan 28 15, 4:30 PM |

Thank God for deflate gate or their would have been nothing to talk about in the half a month layoff. (except Marshawn Lynch's hilarious antics) Reply #24. Jan 28 15, 9:14 PM |

Pro football hall of fame inductees will be announced Saturday night. I'm rooting for Kurt Warner, as he is my favorite player. It would be cool to see Orlando Pace inducted as well. Reply #26. Jan 29 15, 7:40 AM |

I'd like to see Kurt Warner inducted, as well. He helped make the Cardinals contenders the years he was with them. Reply #27. Jan 29 15, 10:07 PM |

It would be nice to see John Lynch get in and join Brooks and Sapp. Those three were the backbone of one of the best defenses the NFL has ever seen. Reply #28. Jan 29 15, 10:44 PM |

I remember those Bucs in the early 2000s... Amazing defense. Rams couldn't ever do much against them. Glad their best QB was Shaun King in 1999 or else they probably would have went to the Super Bowl that year. Reply #29. Jan 30 15, 7:53 AM |

What's your all-time favorite Super Bowl commercial? Mine is last year's Doberman/Chihuahua mix ad, which was actually a car commercial! Reply #32. Jan 31 15, 12:53 AM |

Patriots win, YES!!! Tom Brady is FINALLY one of only three quarterbacks with four Super Bowl wins. This SHOULD stop the silly talk of Seattle being a "dynasty". Congrats Mr. Brady and the rest of the bunch! Reply #33. Feb 01 15, 9:21 PM |

Yes, it WAS!! Think about this - If not for a little bad luck against the New York Giants TWICE in the Super Bowl, Tom Brady could've won SIX rings. Now THAT'S stupendous!! Reply #35. Feb 01 15, 9:52 PM |

That was truly a great game. Both teams played at a high level and there were very few mistakes. Even on the last play it wasn't a bad throw, the kid made a heck of a catch. Hats off to the Patriots, they earned it. Reply #37. Feb 01 15, 10:37 PM |

I'm so proud of the Patriots! It was a good game and I was screaming at the end of it. Tom Brady now has 4 rings. Best. Ever. Reply #38. Feb 02 15, 11:35 AM |

With this fourth Super Bowl win I would rank Tom Brady as the #2 quarterback all-time, behind only Joe Montana. Reply #39. Feb 02 15, 4:44 PM |

Three Super Bowls were won by Vinatieri and one with an unbelievable goal line interception. Brady had a LOT of help and a little bit of luck in all four wins. To many that is irrelevant because a win is a win. I don't see it like that. I put it into context. I'd have to rank Brady in the top 10 for sure, but I wouldn't put him number 2. I can see why you would though -- nothing wrong with it. Reply #40. Feb 03 15, 5:06 AM |
