Although none can be 'claimed' would it not be a good idea to post which one you are working on so we don't get duplicated effort and all of them get covered? Reply #1. Jan 15 13, 9:17 PM |

Participants may, by all means, note if they're working on one and try to coordinate. Reply #2. Jan 15 13, 9:18 PM |

Geez ... I have to drive three hours if wish to go to a drive in from here. Unless it's school holidays then the one that's 58 kilometres away is open, though, sadly,(puts on his best "Time Warp" impersonating voice) not very longer (removes voice) ... the land is far too valuable and housing plans are already into the council for approval Reply #6. I'm going to have a go at the female names mixture. Reply #7. Jan 16 13, 9:46 AM |

Updated the header post: "For your quiz to count for this challenge, the link must be posted in this thread after the submission is placed online and you must state which double feature it's eligible for; it'd be awkward to fulfill two challenges (eg. a Kazan film with an igloo) and get counted for the wrong one." So one may write a quiz about a European movie with a female name in the title? Reply #9. Jan 16 13, 12:23 PM |

Only if she lives in an igloo, and the 2012 movie was directed by Elia Kazan, and she won an Oscar for her role... Reply #10. Jan 16 13, 1:54 PM |

Jan, as I understand it, you can do that, but you must specify whether you want your quiz to count for the European category, or the female name category. Mine is now submitted. :) Reply #11. Jan 16 13, 2:27 PM |

How do you guys write quizzes so fast? Reply #12. Jan 16 13, 3:44 PM |

It depends on the person and it depends on the quiz. Some people just write fast provided they have all the materials they need to finish it up. Reply #13. Jan 16 13, 4:12 PM |

I used to be able to write several quizzes in a day.... But as time constraints prevented this, I find that I struggle to get one every couple of weeks! :) Reply #14. Jan 16 13, 4:22 PM |

I've been procrastinating many templates for a while, for example I took two months to do my last AinA quiz, and I haven't touched my Commission quiz yet, so don't think I always churn them out this quickly. :P I just saw the movies idea and was inspired. :) It's not often I do a quiz in one day's work. Not sure if I'll tackle one of these, but I just submitted a movie quiz for A in A and was wondering... I started a template for a movie quiz and realized as I researched that the movie I had in mind was a made for television movie rather than a theatrical release. (I have it on DVD.) So I chose a different movie. But where would a made for television movie go? It was a one-time movie, not a series. Reply #18. Jan 17 13, 12:53 PM |

Can the Oscar-winning film have just one award for anything? If so, may I coordinate this with another Lounge challenge? Reply #19. Jan 17 13, 2:52 PM |
