We haven't seen this for a couple years, but here it is again. If you see a word you like, you must claim it. The word must be intact at the beginning of the quiz title; for example if you choose 'Twist', the quiz title must begin with 'Twist'-- not 'Twisted' or 'Do the Twist', or any variation. Authors may only choose one title and they may not throw it back into the pile to choose a new one. You may only throw your title back when all of them have been claimed.

gracious1, Kyle means that you are stuck with your title until all 10 titles are taken. You cannot give your title back to pick up a different one that comes along later if you decide you like it better than the one you already chose. You chose to write a quiz with "Laugh" in the title. You cannot give it back to pick up a different one. I think the intent was for people to chose wisely, not just jump at the first one available, in case something better came along. You're stuck now, girl. At least until the other 9 titles are all claimed. Hope you find something to write about "Laugh". In the future, it might be best to hold out on challenges until you're ready to write the quiz you claim, instead of jumping to be the first to claim a quiz in every lounge challenge. If you're regretting your choice of "Laugh", maybe you need to rethink your Lounge quiz-claiming strategy. Also, I noticed you have over 5 titles claimed in various challenges around the Lounge...why would you want to add another quiz to your list when you have so many unfinished challenges out already? Aren't you feeling overwhelmed? I know I would be. I have 3 challenges I'm working on, and I know I'm a bit overwhelmed! Good luck with everything you have put on your plate :) Reply #8. Yup-- if you choose a title, it can't be handed back in until all ten words are claimed. That means a better word might show up! You have to be strategic. Here's the thing: saying we can't give back titles until all the titles are taken isn't even true. For example, if rossian decides, oh never mind, I don't have time for this, he can just drop out now, and that's the end of it. He doesn't have to wait for all the titles to be taken. If Rossian were to drop out now, her name would remain next to the title until all ten of them were taken. She would not be able to claim a different one, but her word would go up for someone else (who didn't pick one) to grab at that point. Everyone gets only one shot to pick one. Reply #19.
