Subject: what type of music do you listen to?

My apologies if a topic like this has been started, but I was wondering what different types of music we listen to. For me, I think I've made it clear that r&b is my favorite, with good rap a close second. But I can listen to pretty much anything. I'm a big country fan also, and my closet secret is that I love 80's music.

Grew up listening to my older brother's records back in the 60s, raised on the radio, which consisted mostly of the Beatles and other popular pop/rock groups of that time. Classic rock is my favourite, but also contemporary Christian music, I listen to KLOVE radio these days, also NPR for classical instrumental music and enjoy the singing of Sarah Brightman and Enya. Haven't we already got a thread on this subject? I'm like Conundrum - my musical tastes cover a wide range of genres. However, I like opera (as long as it's not Wagner!) but I don't consider rap or hip-hop music, so they're out, and heavy metal makes my ears bleed,so it would never make it onto my list. Reply #5.
