I looove chocolate, but for "comfort food", I will nominate mac and cheese, or my grandmother's lasagna. Or, soup that my grandmother used to feed me when I was little. It's basically just chicken broth and pastinas, good for small children because the pasta is tiny. But I still love it! Reply #22. Feb 10 09, 6:41 PM |

My favourite is a lemon and parmaesan risotto, really easy recipe and tastes so good. Or a spinach and fetta cheese crepe. Reply #27. Mar 05 09, 1:14 AM |

My comfort food after a hard day at work was always sago pudding, I love it, but for a long time now it has not appeared on the supermarket shelves. There is rice and tapioca and semolina, but not sago. I love custard too. Reply #28. Jul 11 09, 3:23 PM |

You are not alone! Here's a forum discussion about the difficulty of finding frog-spawn. http://www.mamtaskitchen.com/board/showthread.php?thread_id=882 Two interesting posts - one that the soil in Thailand is currently too salty to support the crop, and another suggests looking in Indian food shops, where it's known as sabudana or saboodana. Good luck! Reply #29. Jul 11 09, 3:50 PM |

Tuna pinwheel. Or mac and cheese, but from scratch, not from a box. Reply #30. Jul 25 09, 12:33 AM |

Sandwiches. I love making them up putting different things in them but don't enjoy the feeling in the morning when i have had to eat too much the night before it is like a hang over. Reply #34. Oct 28 09, 5:39 AM |
