What’s your favourite comfort food?
With me it’s creamy tomato soup, plenty of fresh bread, with lashings of butter and absolutely no cutlery (maybe chop sticks).

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I can’t see it.

I looove chocolate, but for "comfort food", I will nominate mac and cheese, or my grandmother's lasagna. Or, soup that my grandmother used to feed me when I was little. It's basically just chicken broth and pastinas, good for small children because the pasta is tiny. But I still love it!

My favourite is a lemon and parmaesan risotto, really easy recipe and tastes so good. Or a spinach and fetta cheese crepe.

My comfort food after a hard day at work was always sago pudding, I love it, but for a long time now it has not appeared on the supermarket shelves. There is rice and tapioca and semolina, but not sago. I love custard too.

You are not alone! Here's a forum discussion about the difficulty of finding frog-spawn.

Two interesting posts - one that the soil in Thailand is currently too salty to support the crop, and another suggests looking in Indian food shops, where it's known as sabudana or saboodana. Good luck!

Tuna pinwheel. Or mac and cheese, but from scratch, not from a box.

Sandwiches. I love making them up putting different things in them but don't enjoy the feeling in the morning when i have had to eat too much the night before it is like a hang over.
