More like addicted. I read almost all genres, encyclopedias, and dictionaries. I dont't like explicit sex, horror or the graphic dipiction of torture. For ,goobas, try Terry Prachett. He is quite like Eddings and Anthony. I have found after doing a quiz or two and failing. I had to reread several, Elizabeth Peter, Ian Morson, Peter Tremayne are good historical mystery writers also. Reply #81. Oct 21 12, 8:44 PM |

Yes. I live close to two libraries. I like all kinds of fiction except romance, mystery, and thriller, which is a lot of what's being published today. I've been reading a lot of historical drama lately, and a lot of fantasy or dramam for young adults. I said to a friend, who said that history is boring, to read some historical drama, because some of those royal families (or non-royal ones) were really messed up--the stuff they will do for ambition is really extreme sometimes. Will also read nonfiction on any topic that looks interesting. Reply #84. Feb 14 13, 8:33 AM |

Yes, reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I don't have a favorite book, some of the best ones I've read are To Kill a Mockingbird and Life of Pi. I'm currently reading The Joy Luck Club, lets see how that goes! Reply #85. Mar 15 13, 11:05 PM |

Iam trying to read Immanuel Kant and Can't. Philosophy is so frustrating for an artist type mind like mine. I tend to read meditation books. Reply #86. Mar 27 13, 6:43 PM |

I don't remember the time in my life when I wasn't reading anything (my mom used to read to me before I learnt to do it myself). I like to both read new stuff and reread my favorite books. Reply #91. Dec 20 13, 5:30 PM |

Yes I think I can call reading a hobby. So lucky I learned to read at an early age. And it has followed me all throughout life. Hopefully I will be reading for a long time yet. I love reading all different kinds of books. Reply #92. May 10 17, 3:30 PM |

No, I don't enjoy reading unless it is something I am very interested in, such as the King James Bible and devotionals I have read for years, and that is a labor of love! Reply #93. May 10 17, 7:25 PM |

I love reading but sadly don't get much time to now. I'll read pretty much anything, but I really love obscure stories, like Neil Gaiman, and ones that make you think hard like 'The Girl on the Train'. Reply #98. Jul 02 17, 1:03 AM |

My favorite hobby for about sixty years now. I read all sorts of books, fiction and non, but right now I'm kind of addicted to Austen Variation books, and books about famous people. Reply #100. Jun 20 18, 11:26 PM |
