What do you think are the best names of bands? I like the name "The Temper Trap", but I don't really know why. What about you?

I like music by "The Bloody Hollies" and "Drive-By Truckers" but I'm a little put off by the name of the band "...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead."

Probably the strangest band name I'd ever heard was "Toad The Wet Sprocket".

I like Free Beer. As in, Free Beer at the Crazy Horse tonight. Back in the late 80s/early 90s I was in a band called The Nerve. As in, the nerve of those jerks killing cats at this time of night!

There is a band in Broome called the Pigram Brothers - seven brothers. Some years ago, their kids got together and recorded some songs under the name of...
"The Little Piggies"...
I just loved that !

Lesley, I actually joined that band when they were calling themselves Microscopic, for reasons I never fully understood. I suggested the Nerve and all but one of them went for it. We played in bars and colleges in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Man, the memories from those times! It'll all be in my fascinating(pffft!) autobiography if I ever finish it lol.
