My all time favourite. The first LP I ever bought was The Shadows Greatest Hits. We were walking through a shopping centre and it was being played on the system that piped music all through the centre. We found our way to the Music store and bought it, and then believe it or not we went out and bought a Stereo to play it on. I kid you not. A case of the cart before the horse....LOL I wish him very many more birthdays and even greater success. Reply #2. Oct 19 14, 6:11 AM |

It's a shame more Americans don't know who Cliff is. I think he has the best voice of any male pop/rock singer ever! Reply #3. Nov 28 14, 11:49 PM |

His best stuff were the early ones. 'Move it' 'The Next Time' etc in fact anything he did with 'The Shadows' In his later live concerts he came across a bit naff and even spoiled some of his early hits by doing newer versions that seemed more Euro-vision than rock and his dancing is embarrassing. I've never really beena fan of Cliff Richard's voice or music. The nearest I came to being a fan was when I went to see the film 'Summer Holiday' as a youngster. I enjoyed the film at the time. Reply #10. Nov 21 18, 6:55 AM |
