Andre Rieu, Richard Clydermann, and Cliff Richard....those are musicians who make music that is worth listening to, not some of this modern rubbish that assaults our ears these days. Reply #1. Nov 26 16, 8:09 PM |

Geddy Lee, from Rush. I think he'd pick some good wines. George Harrison. For the company. Courtney Barnett. She's a great writer of songs. We would all enjoy wonderful food and conversation. I think we would. Reply #2. Nov 26 16, 8:20 PM |

That's a tough one. Today, probably Tony Iommi, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, and Alice Cooper, it would probably change tomorrow. And after dinner, we'd all play a little night golf! Reply #10. Jan 14 17, 12:57 PM |

Varnish! What it is, Brohemian Rhapsody? Okay, call me kooky and all kinds of other stuff, but my three dinner guests would be Rockin' Rob Halford from Judas Priest, Steve Harris from Iron Maiden, and Terrible Ted Nugent. Not only for the 144+ combined years of professional experience between these guys, but also just for the mind-blowing madness of it all! Bring it! Reply #12. Jan 22 17, 5:52 AM |

I'm not sure I'd want any musicians as dinner guests as I think they'd be rather self obsessed and talk endlessly about themselves but not in an interesting way. I might have made an exception for Mozart, Captain Beefheart and Ian Dury. Unfortunately none of them is still alive. Reply #13. Jan 22 17, 2:31 PM |

Been thinking a bit more about this. I would invite Sandy Denny(if she were not deceased), Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush. Reply #15. Jan 27 17, 4:33 AM |

Just three, oh no! Justin Hayward, Sia, and Brent Smith. This is just for tonight’s dinner, though. Next week it’s Buddy Holly, Dido, and Amy Lee. And then Bishop Briggs, Eric Burdon, and Florence Welch. Then Stevie Nicks, Johnny Rivers, and Meg Myers. And then I’m having Noel and Liam Gallagher along with Raffi, a peaceful guy to get those brothers to get along! And then Imogen Heap, Scott Stapp, and Bob Seger. I want to try to integrate “old” music and “new” artists to show some folks that not all modern music is “rubbish”. Reply #19. Nov 20 18, 12:27 PM |
