Pizza and beer will have a similar taste in that both contain yeast. That's why they taste good together too. My favourite pizza is ham and pineapple but no one else in my family likes pineapple on pizza. Reply #1. Apr 02 17, 2:52 PM |

I don't think pineapple belongs on pizza, but that's just my opinion. I like anchovies on pizza,also in a spaghetti sauce that includes black olives. Generally, I have obeyed the rules all my life, but in elementary school, I hated black olives so much, I hid them in my napkin and flushed them down the toilet. The anchovies we get from our fish shop are not crunchy. I don't know how they prepare them. My husband loves them but I don't care for anything that salty now. It can give me an acid stomach. I was listening to a food programme the other day where an Italian woman asked people to try various types of olives including olives without salt,oil or vinegar.
