Chris and I are sitting out today and tomorrow in what is described as catastrophic fire conditions. I must just go and finish getting everything ready in case there's an emergency. I just visited my mother, who lives about 20 minutes away. Walking outside is like being hit in the face with a blast furnace, and this was before lunch. Glad to be at home with the curtains drawn.
