I'm so sad to hear this news. He was definitely an inspiration to me and my musical directions. He will be tremendously missed.

Just heard it on KSHE95. That's a local rock station in St Louis.

Really sad. Never could play anywhere close to what that guy could do. Crazy stuff. At least he's with his family now. Lost his wife and daughter not that long ago.

I was lucky enough to be able to see Rush one time at Riverport ampitheater.

One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

It was a shock for me too. Like everyone else, I had no idea he was so sick. Thankfully I got to see Rush twice in 2004 and 2007. They were fantastic, and very entertaining. A great loss for the world of rock music.

I think I saw them in 1991. "Roll the Bones" tour.

I bet they sounded as good in 1991 as they did 2007. They always sound good live.
