I got my first Television quiz online yesterday.

I'm very surprised because I have never written for that category before, and believe it or not, never played any quizzes there either. So it was such a surprise when it got placed online without needing to be rejected. That Editor's Choice really did something magical. I mean, my quizzes are going online like wildfire and very good quality too.

This is my quiz which earned an EC. Terry gave the EC, btw. Another editor, who placed it online, wrote me and said she was considering it for an EC, but Terry beat her to it.

As other lounge authors know, I hate it when my quizzes are unpopular. I recently got over it and embraced writing about what I love. For example, my Television quiz is about an old Russian series that hardly anybody has even heard of. But I love it very much, and I very proud that FT has a quiz about it now.

Let me admit something. I adopted another quiz, which is now online, so that I could get April's painting. Well, it's a win-win. I have the painting, FT has one less orphan (meaning the quiz), and it didn't cost anyone anything.

I think I might be the second author (after Terry) to place a Fun Fill-It quiz online! I can't wait for it to go online. It's actually an adopted vocabulary quiz. The original quiz wasn't bad at all, but perhaps a little boring. I think this format will bring it up a notch.

I'm terminating my account as soon as I get the rest of my unfinished quizzes online, so enjoy my blog while you still have it.

Actually, after a talk with a staff member, I'm not going to terminate my account but simply create a schedule, limiting my screen time.

Does anyone else feel that they adopt quizzes they know nothing about? That's what I do, and I've learned a lot doing so. My adopted rose colors quiz is on a topic I didn't know anything about, but with the help of Google, I got it online and learned some new things. Also, I have vocabulary quiz in the queue now, and I learned a lot about etymology.

Please, folks, don't feel shy to post here. I love discussing books, cats, Adrien Brody, and quiz-writing.

I'm writing a quiz for the 2023 limited edition author challenge, and I'm going to get a badglet, you wait and see! As I always try to do, I got the title to fit in with "The Pianist". Call me obsessed, but I don't care. If I absolutely cannot get "The Pianist" to fit, then I try for "The Three Musketeers". I can make almost any title fit in with those things.

Well, well, well, my humanities quiz seems to be very successful. It was a good revamp of that old adopted quiz. I'm getting lots of compliments. In fact, an editor (an editor! Just imagine!) sent me a compliment saying it was very professional.

Might be a short, boring list to most of you reading it. Post here and let me know what you think, please!

My three cats are so precious. They're all black-and-white female cats. Here's another twist. Their names are Sonia, Cassie, and Lizzy. Cassie is Sonia's daughter, and Lizzy is Cassie's daughter. That makes Sonia a grandmother! So I can tell people I have three generations of cats!

Good luck with your writing.

I'm a life-long reader. Started with Dick and Jane and never looked back - that was over seventy years ago.

Classic books are especially the best! Alexandre Dumas is my favorite of all times. Agatha Christie, Leo Tolstoy, and Charles Dickens are also really good. Sherlock Holmes is the book that led me to all the classics.

Congratulations on your Author Badge!

Of the authors you just mentioned, Dumas would be my favorite. The Count of Monte Cristo would easily make my iist of Top Ten books (if I had one). Tolstoy: loved Anna Karenina, never made it through War and Peace. Christie is ok, but not a favorite. Ditto Dickens.

Two of my very favorite authors as far as classics go are Balzac and Zola. No French though, I have to read in translation. Current day favorites would be writers of series mysteries.
