1 month. Lucy was seriously injured on October 8th, 1996 while filming a stunt for the 'Tonight Show with Jay Leno'. Lucy's horse slipped on the concrete and she hit the pavement. As a result Lucy suffered four fractures in her pelvis. But within 4 weeks (1 month) she was back on the set.
Gerry Jacobson. Gerry Jacobsen became a Xena double after she did a stunt as Xena in an episode of 'Hercules'. She spent 9 months of the year as Lucy's double on XWP during seasons one and two. In later seasons Zoe Bell took over as the main stunt double.

Vanessa Angel. Vanessa Angel was originally cast(hired)in the role but had to bow out due to illness. Roma Downey was the producers first choice but she declined. Roma never signed a contract and she was never hired. Downey stars in the hit series 'Touched By An Angel'.
Lysia and Lyla. Lucy's first appearance was that of the menacing Amazon enforcer Lysia in 'Hercules and the Amazon Women'. Her second role on
'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys' was playing Lyla, the courageous young bride of Deric the Centaur. Of course Lucy also premeired as Xena on 'Hercules' leading to the creation of 'Xena Warrior Princess'.
Jon Voight. The 'Rainbow Warrior' was a made-for-TV movie about a Greenpeace ship that was sunk in New Zealand by the French. Lucy had a bit part as Jane Redmond.
Opera and Languages. Although Lucy studied Opera said she didn't have the same passion for music that she had for acting. Besides English Lucy speaks German, French and some Italian.
Unco. Some people called Lucy 'Unco' (short for uncoordinated). Guess she showed them!
