The Monster of the Marshes. "Bride of the Monster" was filmed as "Bride of the Atom", but was original written as "The Monster of the Marshes". Ed Wood gave Alex Gordon co-screenplay credit for giving him the idea of setting the movie in a swamp. This probably explains why it was titled "The Monster of the Marshes".
Newspaper reporters. They both played newspaper reporters. King writes articles about the strange happenings at Lake March, then eventually ends up getting abducted by Dr. Vornoff's assistant, Lobo.
Dr. Acula. Keene Duncan was a long time regular in Ed Wood’s films, and starred as "Dr. Acula" a "medium" who conducts cheesy seances.
Valda Hansen. This was Valda Hansen's only appearence for Ed Wood. She played the not so ghostly assistant of Dr.Acula in the 1958 film "Night of the Ghouls", which previewed as "Revenge of the Dead".
