Nassau Coliseum. The main event at 'Wrestlemania II' was Hulk Hogan verses King Kong Bundy for the Heavyweight Championship. This event was a Steel Cage Match. Hogan gave Bundy a leg drop, then scaled the cage to escape. Hogan crushed any dream that Bundy had of capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. It also marked the first 'Battle Royal'. Twenty men converged in the ring. W.W.F. superstars included: Bruno Sammartino, Big John Studd, and Andre The Giant. Also some famous football stars were included in the 'Battle Royal', they consisted of: William 'Refrigerator' Perry, and Jim Covert. The Sky Dome. The main event that night was Hulk Hogan against The Ultimate Warrior. This match was considered to be 'The Ultimate Match'. Hogan's Heavyweight Championship was on the line and so was the Warrior's Intercontinential Belt. Hogan gave the Warrior a boot to the face and went for the leg drop to end the match. At the last second, Warrior moved and hit a stunned Hogan with a splash to win both championships.

The Executioner. This was the first match to start off 'Wrestlemania I'.
The Colossal Connection. Demolition defeated this team to win the Tag Team Championships.
Tori. Nicole Bass interfered allowing Sable to win the match.

He said he only intended for it to be a one time deal, but when he saw how much the fans and wrestlers enjoyed it, he couldn't think of not having another 'Wrestlemania'.

It wouldn't work with the event being live from one arena, and dispensed via closed circuit television. In the interview, Brisco said that he was not very impressed with the idea of having the event held in one location only, and then being shown via closed circuit television at other locations chosen by the World Wrestling Federation. He wholeheartedly believed no one would by tickets to view it from the other locations, via television. I guess that Vince McMahon proved it could be done!

Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam faced off against William Regal for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. At first, Regal had control of the match, but control was soon taken away by Rob Van Dam. Van Dam gave Regal a clothesline and several kicks to the head and abdomen. Regal decided he had enough and reached into his trunks for a pair of brass knuckles. Van Dam, seeing the brass knuckles, kicked them out of Regal's hand, and they landed on the mat outside the ring. After knocking Regal flat, Van Dam decided to go for the "Five Star Frog Splash", but Regal moved and Rob Van Dam landed with a hard crash on the mat. After more battling, Van Dam went for the "Rolling Thunder", but all he received for that was Regal's knees in his back. Regal then gave Rob Van Dam a "Full Nelson", which landed Rob Van Dam on his head. Regal then reached in his trunks again for another pair of brass knuckles, but Rob Van Dam kicked them out of his hand again. Then Van Dam performed the "Five Star Frog Splash" and won the title.
Christian. Christian faced off against Diamond Dallas Page for the WWF European Championship. Upon entering the ring, Christian assaulted the champion and grabbed the belt and raised it over his head. Diamond Dallas Page came out of nowhere and tossed Christian out of the ring. The two battled fiercely, with Christian trying to give Diamond Dallas Page the "Unprettier", but Diamond Dallas Page fought out of it. After trying to give Christian the "Diamond Cutter" several times, Diamond Dallas Page succeeded. Diamond Dallas Page retained his title. After the match, Diamond Dallas Page congratulated Christian for controlling his temper when he lost. As Diamond Dallas Page was leaving, Christian threw a tantrum in the middle of the ring, but Diamond Dallas Page only smiled and then left the arena through the crowd. Way to go Diamond Dallas Page!
