Pincus Leff was a "baggy pants" style comic in the 1940s and 1950s, hosting his own children's shows in the 1950s and 1960s. His catch phrase, whenever anyone irritated him, was "Oooooooo! You make me sooo MAD!" He passed away at age 85 in 1993. Pink (Alecia Beth Moore) is a pop singer/songwriter and actress, nominee and winner of several Grammy awards. Peewee Herman (Paul Reubens) styled some of his character and children's show (Peewee's Playhouse) on Pinky Lee. Peggy Lee was an American jazz and pop singer/songwriter, and actress, nominee and winner of several Grammy awards. She was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995.

It was captured by the Grimaldis, an aristocratic Genoan family, in 1297 and a royal palace was later built around the original fort. When Prince Rainier III succeeded his grandfather Prince Louis II in 1949, the palace was falling into a state of disrepair. Prince Rainier was responsible for initiating the vast renovation work to transform the palace into the spectacular royal residence it is today. Parts of the palace are open to the public and it is one of Monaco's most popular tourist attractions. Other attractions include the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix each year, one of the most important dates on the motor racing calendar. The Principality is also home to the world-famous Monte Carlo Casino.

The British SAS used their "Pink Panther" Land Rovers in the desert from 1960 up until the 1980s. They were said to be a highly effective camouflage scheme for desert warfare. The Pink Panthers took their name from the "Pink Panther" films, featuring Peter Sellers as Inspector Jacques Clouseau. Land Rovers were first developed in the UK for farmers, as a tough 4 x 4 vehicle that could be used around farms, powering certain machines. It was soon discovered that they had a wide variety of other uses - including military use - and are sold globally thanks to their tough but simple design, making them excellent vehicles for use in rough terrain.

'The Wall', written by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, deals with the emotional traumas of the central character Pink, and his feelings of alienation and isolation, hence the 'wall' he builds up around himself. The film does not have much dialogue between the characters, but instead features Pink Floyd's music. It has a famous animated sequence of Britain during the Blitz of World War II as well as the live action. The animation was by noted English cartoonist Gerald Scarfe, widely known for his satirical caricatures, the first of which were frequently published in 'Private Eye' magazine.

Following their phenomenal success in Japan, the pop duo Pink Lady (Mitsuyo Nemoto and Keiko Masuda) tried to break into the U.S. entertainment market with the show "Pink Lady and Jeff"; the show was a mixture of variety and sitcom, featuring showbiz guest appearances, songs from Pink Lady, and the comedian Jeff Altman "translating" the girls' Japanese and speaking gibberish back to them. It ran for six weeks only before being pulled. The diamond had a colour flaw, which upon magnification and a specific illumination, supposedly looked somewhat like a leaping panther. David Niven's character name was Sir Charles Lytton, a debonair cat burglar who intended to steal the diamond. His criminal alias was "The Phantom". While a pink Cadillac is definitely a "gem", one did not make an appearance in the movie. Many people seem to think the Pink Panther is the Clouseau character, but that is not the case in the original plot.

Don Featherstone was a classically trained artist when a friend asked him to help design a three dimensional ornament, instead of a flat ornament. So, in a way, he laid the groundwork for gnomes, fairies, geese and all manner of yard displays. Prior to creating the flamingo, he had been asked to design a duck, and he felt the best way to replicate it would be to buy one, and then released it after he completed his design. When asked to design the flamingo, he realized he couldn't buy one, so used National Geographic photographs. Rather successfully, I might add. He passed away in June, 2015 at the age of 79. Henry Mancini was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1924. As well as his memorable 'Pink Panther' theme tune he composed the music for several films and television programmes including 'Moon River', the theme tune to 1961 film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's, which won him and lyricist Johnny Mercer the Academy Award for Best Original Song in the 1962 Awards. Among several nominations and awards during his long and successful career he won a total of four Oscars and 20 Grammys. Henry Mancini died in Los Angeles in 1994.

Jumbo it is. This elephant is very rare with a skin that is a very pale reddish tint, which turns pink when wet. Even its eyelashes and toenails are very pale in colour. They're all officially classed as white, however. Oh well, why not? The white elephant is usually considered a symbol of royal power in this area of the world. If a king wanted to bankrupt a rival or an enemy, it was said that he gave this person or persons a gift of a white elephant. The Pinkerton Detective Agency was formed by Allan Pinkerton in 1852. Above their motto "We Never Sleep" was a graphic logo of "the all seeing eye", which gave rise to the term "private eye". Pinkerton agents were hired to track down many "infamous" outlaws of the time, including Frank/Jesse James, the Wild Bunch and Butch Cassidy/The Sundance Kid. Much of Pinkerton's methodology was adopted by the FBI when it was first formed. The nickname of the London Metropolitan Police is "Scotland Yard". It is also called "the Met", to differentiate it from the other two police services that operate in the London area. FBI agents are called "G-Men" (short for "Government Men"), a nickname supposedly coined by the gangster "Machine Gun" Kelly circa 1933. Members of the R.C.M.P. are called "Mounties". Their dress uniforms are scarlet, not pink.

Gastro-oesophageal reflux is the medical term for the condition in which the muscular ring (sphincter) at the lower end of the gullet (oesophagus) is over-relaxed, allowing stomach acid to flow back (reflux) up the oesophagus. All these events were undeniably sad, but the only one in which a pink Chanel suit played a part was the assassination of JFK in Dallas, Texas. Iconic film show Jackie attempting to climb out of the convertible carrying the president, and Texas governor John Connally and his wife. A member of the Secret Service jumped on to the car to shield them. Jackie had cradled JFK's head, and his blood stained the suit. As the events of the day unfolded, Jackie continued wearing the suit, to the hospital, and on Air Force One leaving Dallas with the president's body. It was aboard Air Force One that Lyndon Baines Johnson was sworn in as president, and in another iconic photograph, Jackie is standing next to him at the swearing in, still in the blood stained pink Chanel suit. Where is the suit now? It is in the hands of the National Archives and Records Administration in College Park, Maryland, stored in an unknown location, unfolded in an acid-free box, with instructions that it may not be displayed before the year 2103.
