Andrew Lloyd Webber. It is one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals, along with others such as 'Cats', 'Phantom Of The Opera' and 'Starlight Express'.

'Go, Go, Go Joseph'. This scene is wonderful! The stage fills with dancers clad in sixties style dress all go-going! Then a man dressed as a hippy guru appears. I suppose it's a reflection of the times at which the musical was written (1960s).

Philip Schofield. It was TV presenter Philip Schofield. The nation was surprised when Schofield announced that he would take over from Jason Donovan, and seemed an unlikely choice for the part. He impressed the critics, and I can add from first hand experience, he was just as good at the part as Jason! :)

He doesn't speak Egyptian very well. '... It wouldn't be a pic-nic he could tell. 'And I don't speak Egyptian very well...!'. One of the great talents of Tim Rice is his witty, yet sensitive writing!

Rameses I. Seti I is Rameses' son and Rameses II is his grandon. Anubis is the Egyptian god of the afterlife. He was not a Pharoah.
